BCN Critical XXL: Supreme Spanish Genetics

The BCN Critical XXL is a new and improved version of Critical genetics. This strain was bred in Spain by using elite, basque country clones of Kritical Bilbo and Critical +. Then this cross was crossed again with Critical Mass, resulting in an easy-to-grow strain with a supreme high and a wonderful citrus fragrance.

When growing BCN Critical Mass, give her ample space since she’ll grow to a medium height. She’ll benefit from topping and the screen of green method to improve her already exceptional yields.

Feed her with enough light by using at least a 600W HID lamp. When vegetating, she’ll enjoy an 18/6 light schedule and when she’s ready for flowering, flip her into a 12/12 lighting schedule.

She’ll love to grow indoors or outdoors and will be ready in about 8 weeks of flowering. Keep her in at least 10L containers to give her roots enough space to thrive.

  The buds in the photos are stickier and more aromatic than in my autoflowering grows. The effect is also a bit stronger. The traits of BCN Critical XXL are: Aroma: Spicy, Red Berries, Lemongrass; Taste: Orange, Red Berries, Spice; High: Grounded, Relaxed, Heavy.

- Advantages
  
  The biggest producer of my three (the largest pot), with lovely pinecone buds and a decent yield. It was topped twice and trained along horizontal supports to keep its height downwards. This resulted in vertical growth of about 25 smaller branches, each developing into a large pinecone.
- Disadvantages
  
  Not many. My training was a bit rough, and I broke a few lats to get what I wanted. This method required a lot of mini supports.
- General impressions
  
  Pleasant to smoke and a good social buzz, a nice smell of the dried product, the buds looked great.
