Tips For Growing Blue Gelato 41

This feminized hybrid is 60% Indica and will usually stay under 150cm (4’11”) in height. However, if given enough room and vegetation time, plants can easily reach 200cm (6’6”). You can expect to grow a sturdy plant that grows fast and vigorous with great side branching.

The Blue Gelato 41 flowering time finishes in only 9-10 weeks indoors, or by the end of October outdoors. Many phenotypes show purple or blue buds, but all end up covered with resinous trichomes with THC levels of up to 25%.

  • Use defoliation and low-stress training techniques to increase bud sites for larger yields.
  • Use topping and mainlining to focus the plant’s energy on growing more colas.
  • HID 600W lights are suitable for both the vegetative and flowering stages.
  • THC levels usually test at 25% THC, with under 1% CBD and around 0.5% CBG.

Medical Properties Of Blue Gelato 41 Strain

Medically, Blue Gelato 41 is popularly used to treat symptoms of anxiety, stress, glaucoma, arthritis, rheumatism, and nausea, among others. This is all thanks to its high cannabinoid levels and a wide variety of terpenes present in its resin.

    • Advantages
Once again, this variety is incredible. I'm really very happy with it.
    • Disadvantages
      All good
    • General impressions

The best yet. Top quality. The terpenes are magnificent, the flowers are dense, I'm very happy overall. I was also quite satisfied with the yield considering it was only one plant.

    • Advantages
Tons. A beautiful, tasty, high-yielding variety with a killer effect.
    • Disadvantages
It's difficult to hide, pests always find a way to try to destroy it.
    • General impressions

A real treat! One downside is that pests keep attacking it; you really have to be on the lookout at all times near the plants and take good care of them. The plants are enormous, like trees, so you can only hide them somewhere deep in the forest, or bend them somehow, or cut them down and bend them somewhere among the nettles. They smell wonderful, so it's no surprise that insects flock to them like honey. Nevertheless, I harvested a kilo of buds in October. I also had to tie them up; the branches really bend under their own weight. The potency is medium-high, but that's perfectly normal so it relaxes and inspires you without making you look crazy or unnecessarily drowsy. The taste is unreal, especially if you vape it.

    • Advantages
I had two plants. My buds are old school. When you crack open a bud, it hits you with pine, earth, and a distinct grassy berry scent that any fruity terpedium hunter would absolutely adore, like me. I assure you, both plants are on fire; one is very dense, and the other is a bit fluffier with big red hairs all over. My favorite of the two so far is the fluffier, darker bud.
    • Disadvantages
      None
    • General impressions

These plants were great to grow and even better to smoke. The softer buds smoked very smoothly and flavorfully right after drying, which surprised me to say the least, but most of this weed will be in curing pots and monitored daily.
