Description
Blue Thai is a feminized photoperiod cannabis strain brought to you by Dinafem Seeds – the Dutch cannabis seed bank who gave us other ground-breaking strains in Blue family such as Blue Kush, Blue Hash and Blue Widow – as a cross between the fruity Indica Blueberry and the world-renowned landrace Thai Skunk.
Blue Thai - A Phenomenal Sativa-Dominant Hybrid!
Growing Thai landrace strains was once a difficult task outdoors due to her preference to a very specific tropical environment however modern crossbreeding has allowed for the development of stable, high-performance hybrids which can be grown in most warm climates. Grown indoors her yields are between 400 – 450 g/m2 while outdoor growers can expect up to 700 g per plant from a strain which stays below 2 m! Like many strains in the Blue family, Blue Thai can turn purple towards the end of flower; you can encourage the development of cyano pigments by dropping the night temperature 10 ˚C below the daytime average. Here is some extra information to help you grow this strain:
- Medium to Tall plant – can reach a final height of 2 m making it ideal for SCRoG style grows.
- Max EC of water – 1.3 in veg, 1.8 in flower.
- Water pH; 5.8 – 6.0
- Best yields under LED lighting.
Sweet, Exotic Taste
Blue Thai is visually stunning and grows with a beautiful Christmas tree-like structure with thick branches with a large internodal distance. Her flowers are tall, dense and resinous – often shimmering from all the resin packed in between her aromatic buds.
