CBD Amnesia combines the excellent growing traits of the original with next-level therapeutic value. When making this hybrid, we lowered the THC content to make room for more CBD – around 11-15%. You’ll get loads of this medicine thanks to the yields, which are truly spectacular at 1.6-2 oz/ft² indoors and ~2.5 lb/plant outdoors.
Description
CBD Amnesia Strain Info
CBD Amnesia is medical marijuana at its finest. This 65% Sativa/35% Indica hybrid contains up to 15% CBD and twice as little THC so that the mind-altering effects don’t get in the way. This photoperiod variety is fast-flowering but exceptionally generous – expect to harvest huge and resinous buds bursting with CBD’s healing powers.
Genetics
By crossing the classic Amnesia with a CBD-rich plant, we retained all the growing characteristics and organoleptic features of the original version, which goes back to the tropical lineage of Sativa-dominant Hazes.
Flowering Time
Despite the presence of Sativa genes, CBD Amnesia has a fairly short flowering time of around 60-65 days. This means that you can try to grow this exotic hybrid in warm and sunny climates outdoors.
Yields
Come harvest time, CBD Amnesia produces fantastic results no matter what the growing method. Indoors, you can count on 1.6-2 oz/ft² (500-600 g/m²), and outdoors, each plant is able to bring 2.4-2.6 lb (1.1-1.2 kg).
Effects
After a couple of puffs, you’ll fall in love with this strain’s mild psychoactive effects that provide a boost of happiness and euphoria. At the same time, the Sativa dominance of these buds ensures that they energize you rather than make you tired.
Medical Properties
CBD has various uses, and you can try this medical marijuana for a number of conditions including seizures, muscle spasms, and joint and muscle inflammation, as well as anxiety and sleep disorders.
THC and CBD Levels
As you may have guessed from its name, this strain’s chemical makeup is dominated by CBD, which hovers around 11-15% and makes for exceptional therapeutic value. The THC levels stay within 7-9% – enough for you to feel high but in a subtle way.
Smell and Taste
The terpene profile of Amnesia CBD takes after the original, featuring such exotic flavors as cedar and Haze. The more common but no less delicious taste of citrus fruit is also present.
Grow Tips
CBD Amnesia is tame enough for a grower of any skill level – even indoors, you can easily train her to get a manageable height at harvest. She produces compact and dense buds that are protected from mold and bud rot. Most gardeners would want to grow her indoors only, but if you’re fortunate enough to live in a Mediterranean type of climate, this will be an insanely rewarding outdoor cultivar for you.
- Switch her to flowering after a short veg or use 12/12 from seed.
- Install powerful lights to prevent stretching and increase yields.
- You’ll need trellising for bud support in the late flowering stage.
