Gelato from Blimburn Seeds is a feminized seed version of a long time clone-only favorite US cannabis strain. It’s a Sativa-dominant hybrid known for it’s remarkable fruity taste and high potency, testing as high as 27% THC. Gelato is a Sativa-dominant cannabis strain, a cross between Sunset Sherbert, a fruity Indica and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, a delicious, potent and resinous phenotypes of GSC. It was a clone-only strain for a long time, originating from Bay Area, California and taking the US cannabis scene by a storm. Well known for its sweet and fruity, dessert-like flavors and aromas, characteristic for Cookies line genetics. Plants are fast growing, vigorous and versatile with good resistance against mold, mildew and bud rot.
It finishes flowering in 8-10 weeks with yields up to 500g/m2 indoors or 700g per plant outdoors where plants can reach 160-200cm. Buds tend to be smaller but dense, thick and sticky with dark-purple or lilac hues, usually fully coated with resin and covered with fiery orange hairs, testing up to 27% THC.
