Smell And Taste

The name ‘Mimosa Cake Auto’ didn’t come out of nowhere – it references the strain’s sweet, fruity, and bubbly aromas. Mimosa Cake Auto’s terpene profile produces a pungent citrus scent that has undertones of natural earthiness. After puff, puff, passing, you’ll be pleased with the sour, tangy exhale igniting your senses.

Grow Tips

Mimosa Cake Auto proves that good things really do come in small packages, as she produces XL yields from a compact stature. This makes the strain ideal for growing in tight spaces indoors, and for privacy with outdoor grows. For the most part, Mimosa Cake Auto reaches heights of 90-120cm (35-47 inches) and is easy to manage. A few tips to keep in mind when growing the strain include:

  • Plants can benefit from LST techniques for maximized light exposure and matching yields.
  • Its dense, heavy buds can also benefit from staking for extra support and to avoid branches breaking.

    • Advantages
So, this growth cycle was easy and fast, the fastest auto I've grown so far, ready on day 77.
    • Disadvantages
      May cause dry mouth/dry eyes
    • General impressions

Today marks one week since these buds started curing in a Mason jar, so I'm starting to get a feel for them, and man, this stuff is straight up 🔥!! Even though it's sativa-dominant, it's produced some of the thickest buds I've ever grown; they're rock-dense and loaded with sticky trichomes. When smoked, it's very similar to that earthy, mushy Kush flavor, and I can assure you this stuff is some of the best I've ever smoked. The high starts off very euphoric, but soon after, I start to feel lazy and very relaxed, so maybe I'm letting it get a little too amber, but you know what? I'm really happy this stuff is seriously melting you...

    • General impressions

Overall, it was an excellent plant to grow. A little slow out of the door, but it made up for lost time in flowering. Its buds are super frosty and dense, too. It had a sweet citrus scent at harvest; hopefully, that will intensify as it dries.

    • Advantages
      lives up to the hype.
    • Disadvantages
      Could the yield be lower?
    • General impressions

I've been smoking for over 46 years, this strain is great, worth the yield, no matter what.

    7 November 2021
    • Advantages
I loved the variety; it was super hardy, attacked by a cat several times, and it grows really well after 62 cm, so yes, I think it's strong. It smells of cream and fruit, and the yield was very good.
    • Disadvantages

    • General impressions

I took some of the lower buds and smoked them. The flavor is exactly what it smells like, like a cream with fruity undertones that come and go while the creamy sensation lingers in the mouth. I love these kinds of flavors. The effects are active at first with a burst of energy, but if you stop, you'll relax like you want to watch a movie and eat a lot, haha. Well, that's my first impression. I know the smell and taste will improve over time, so for now, that's what I can say: what a great strain! 💚👌🏻🌲👐🏻👊🏻

    • Advantages
A superb variety that is easy to grow, flowers quickly, and is very satisfying to consume.
    • Disadvantages
The maturing buds are quite pungent, which is usually delicious, except when their cultivation is illegal. Yes, your mouth will get dry when you smoke it—the smoke does that—so use a water pipe.
    • General impressions

This is the best I've ever had. It's gorgeous, with abundant orange trichomes and an aroma of tropical fruit, hops, and flowers (mimosa?). The smoke is smooth, and the effect is potent and uplifting with minimal paranoia, allowing for focused activities. Best of all, this is followed by a very long and comfortable body high that won't couch-lock you unless you try. Yes, there are a few munchies afterward, but not as intense as with an Indica-dominant strain.
