Mimosa EVO Strain Info

Mimosa EVO is a cross between Orange Punch and Mimosa which both impart their sweet taste and aroma upon her.

Her zesty, citrusy side comes mostly from her Clementine phenotype, meanwhile, Orange Punch gives Mimosa EVO some excellent Indica genetics with its pleasant body high, which nicely complements the more euphoric and energizing characteristics of Clementine. The result: a perfect marriage of two high-quality strains that users are sure to appreciate.

Flowering Time

The plant is ready for harvest in early October, or after a flower time of just 65 days when grown indoors.

Yield

You can expect unbelievable indoor yields of 700 g/m2 (2.29 oz/ft2) and an outdoor harvest of up to 2000 g (70.5 oz) per plant!

Effects

Mimosa EVO has spectacular and uplifting effects. Those who take her in their stride will enjoy a high that’s both energizing and euphoric, giving them plenty of energy to tackle the day. While the strain is a heavy hitter and appropriate for some medicinal users, its uplifting nature means that bad psychoactive experiences are rare (unless, of course, you overdo it).

THC Level

THC levels are usually around 24-26%, but can at times push 30%, so inexperienced users should go slow.

Smell And Taste

This is a truly delicious Indica strain, perfect for those who love their cannabis with a tropical and zesty terpene profile. There’s a strong note of fruit punch and tangerines upon the first smell of this delicious bud, and the taste is similarly tropical, with intense hints of lemons and berries. These flavors and aromas will have you feeling like you’ve drifted off to an island in the South Pacific, leaving all your cares behind.

Grow Tips

The yields produced by this feminized cannabis strain are truly gargantuan, whether grown indoors or outdoors, although outdoor grows tend to be bigger with plants reaching heights up to 220cm (7’3”). It’s a fairly easy plant to grow so long as measures are taken early to account for its abundant yields. It is also very visually appealing, growing large purple leaves and big, frosted buds in no time. To give this strain the best support possible take this grow info into account:

  • With indoor yields of 700 g/m2 (2.29 oz/ft2) and outdoor yields of up to 2000g (70.5 oz) per plant, care needs to be taken to support branches with heavy buds that may weigh them down.
  • Due to the sheer height of this strain, plants require plenty of space to fan out, or a decent amount of training when grown indoors.
  • Allow this strain to mature for a few days longer for the purple to take full effect and the buds to induce a more relaxing high.

    • Advantages
The best I've bought from you
    • Disadvantages
      There aren't any.
    • General impressions

The yield, flavor, and resilience of this strain left me speechless. I regret not buying more of this variety. From now on, I'll only buy this one and won't experiment anymore. From one plant, I managed to get 4.5 kilos raw and 3.9 kilos from another. The third only gave me 300 grams :) My cat kept playing with it and resting underneath it xD I've never had such a successful harvest before, even though I've been growing for over 30 years. The buds are huge; I had to support the branches. It flowered for 6 weeks but can last longer. I highly recommend it to everyone; this strain is truly magical.

    • Advantages
      Very powerful high
    • Disadvantages
      Hermaphrodite problems
    • General impressions

This strain produces a very potent high and is pleasant to smoke, but I don't think it's perfect yet. I've had some hermaphrodite issues. That said, it's still one of the best strains I've grown—very powerful.

    Hello Ozarks OZ,

Thank you for your feedback on this variety. It's great to know you like it! Regarding the hermaphroditism—the plant transforms into hermaphrodite mainly due to environmental issues—we advise you to check the conditions in which these plants are growing; perhaps this variety requires some fertilization.

Hello everyone! This is my first time, so please be gentle :) I don't understand what it needs. It germinated 4 months ago, I moved it outside a month ago, and it's not flowering. What should I do? Please, can someone tell me how to save it?
    • General impressions

      Amazing :)

    Hello!

This is a photoperiod variety and will begin to flower when the nights get longer and cooler. When grown indoors, the light cycle is changed from 18/6 to 12/12 to initiate flowering in photoperiod varieties.
    Respectfully, Herbies Team

    • Advantages
Resilience. Yield. Flavor. THC reaches new heights.
    • Disadvantages
      Non.
    • General impressions

Compared to regular Mimosa, this is a significant improvement. The former produces a more cerebral high, while the latter delivers a more sedating effect. Its flavor is much better, and it's become easier to grow. Regular Mimosa grows a bit taller, with slightly thinner branches and smaller buds. The EVO is a denser and generally more attractive plant. The yield is the same, but the THC content is higher. It's amazing!

    • Advantages
Super good, grows perfectly, sturdy stem, large fan-shaped leaves, gigantic in fact!!!... a little sad to have had to cut them... easy to clone... tolerant of hunger and thirst, handles defoliation and other disturbances well too
    • Disadvantages
...not yet...I slowed down a bit during the growing season...I was adapting to the new substrate, that's just my thinking...but after that, it took off.
    • General impressions

...it went into flowering, it had been in the vegetative stage for about 3 months...I wanted to see what it would be like outdoors, since I'm going to plant its clones outside because the weather permits. Three months of intense heat during the summer and the autumn is very hot too; September could be very hot and October just a little cool...I came to the conclusion that I could try it outside...since I have all these clones (I think I'll have more when it's finished), it's prone to cloning, it's very easy to do...I fixed it and it spread out into 3 more stems...I accidentally bent one while trying to prune it, I had to cut it...I dried it and the effect is already there!!!...tender, deep, relaxing and...very funny!!!...in any case, a very promising and manageable strain...I recommend it to everyone...I can't wait to see how it peace is happening... ps in the photo Mimosa is on the left and Tutankhamun is on the right (clone, vegetative)
