Mimosa Shot Strain Info

Intoxicated is an understatement when experiencing Mimosa Shot’s euphoric and energizing high, which hits you right between the eyes with incredible potency. It's a true THC powerhouse, created by an impressive family tree that began with the union of Purple Punch and Clementine – two flavorful citrus champions. Its Sativa dominance (70% Sativa/30% Indica) yields a euphoric, creative high moderated by smooth physical release, and so it's a day and night choice.

Genetics

Herbies Seeds' breeders had two objectives in mind when breeding Purple Punch and Clementine: flavor and strength. The outcome? A colorful, fruity strain that pairs Clementine's zesty citrus scent with Purple Punch's sweet grape notes for a smoke as complex as it is uplifting.

Flowering Time

Get excited for the blooming, violet-tinged colas in a flowering time of 56-70 days. Quick to mature yet rich in quality, Mimosa Shot rewards patience with beauty and flavor in equal measure.

Yields

The strain offers bountiful yields of around 700g/m² (2.3oz/ft²) indoors, and up to 600-800g (1.3-1.8lbs) per plant outdoors – a generous harvest for such a visually stunning strain. Now that’s what we call a rewarding grow!

Effects

As you can imagine, with its unmatched potency, you can expect instant, hard-hitting results with just one puff! Prepare to be snapped out of a funk in seconds with its incredible uplifting effects that take you by the hand and lead you to your happy place.

With limonene as one of its main terpenes, this strain works well as a pick-me-up after a long, hard day or a great mood enhancer for a fun weekend get-together in your backyard, cooking up a storm on the grill with your best buddies by your side.

THC Level

Worth shouting from the rooftops, Mimosa Shot delivers between 24-30% THC and 2% CBD, with powerful long-lasting effects that aren't overwhelming.

Smell and Taste

As soon as this minute Mimosa Shot is ready to be harvested, it reeks of a fresh, juicy citrus cocktail, filling the nostrils with its sweet, candy-like aroma. When finally ready to roll and enjoy, its terpene profile ripens into a tasty blend of tangerine-candy flavor and subtle, muted spice undertones to wake up the taste buds on exhale, ending in a lingering reminder of sweet peppercorn that you're brought back time and time again.

Grow Tips

One for those who enjoy cultivating tall, majestic plants, Mimosa Shot feminized photoperiod seeds are a sight to behold. It can reach up to 200 cm (6’6’’) both indoors and outdoors, developing sturdy branches to support its heavy, trichome-laden buds with rich purple accents.

For the best chance of reaching Mimosa Shot’s full potential, follow this simple grow info:

  • Due to its immense density, utilize LST methods to allow maximum airflow and light on your buds to create bigger, healthier crops.
  • Make sure to give your harvest enough time to cure prior to consuming, for buried flavors and aromas among large buds will still be developing to be something well worth the wait.
  • Mimosa Shot is a laid-back strain with very little effort needed for a rich harvest; though, it excels beyond anything in the best possible indoor growing conditions.

    • Advantages
A very pleasant plant to grow, it grew quickly and became quite large, just like the other mimosa plants it was planted with. Large, sturdy buds along the entire length of the stems; a lot of weight on this sticky, fragrant plant.
    • Disadvantages
The only problem with this plant is that it ended up growing a few bananas late in its growth. I don't know if it was a little stressed from being pushed or if it's in its genetics, but it's not a big deal because only about 3 seeds have been found so far, so no damage to it or the other plants in the room.
    • General impressions

After drying, potting, and rotting, it yielded a little over 200 grams. Again, just like its housemates, if they had been directly under lights, they would have produced much more. Overall, I'm very happy with this plant and its cultivation; it's flavorful and potent.

    • Advantages
Incredible power. The simplicity of plants.
    • General impressions

Excellent growth. The seeds germinated perfectly, the plants developed steadily, bending and forming well. Not dense, the foliage is of medium width and plentiful; moderate thinning is necessary, but it responds well. The buds are large and resinous. The vegetative period was 7 weeks. Flowering took 10 weeks. They smell bitter, but fresh. And the dried buds smell predominantly citrus. The taste is pleasant. The high is vivid and powerful, taking consciousness to unknown worlds. Everything is experienced differently. I recommend it, but only for those with a good tolerance.

    • Advantages
The walnuts germinated well. The plants were fine, except for the inexplicable growth stoppage, but they all recovered. Many very potent and tasty buds.
    • General impressions

Great girls. There were no problems with germination. Even with the seedlings. Only after 10 days did they stall somewhat and didn't grow for 30 days, then they started to develop actively. I trained them, fed them with organic matter, and lit three plants with 450W LEDs. As a result, there are plenty of buds with lots of buds and resin. The THC level is unlikely to be 30%, otherwise I wouldn't have survived, but it's still a lot... a multi-hour trip, relaxed-euphoric, inspired, happy. Vegetation took a total of 2 months, followed by 2 months of flowering. Three girls yielded 300 grams. The taste and aroma are fresh and juicy, like tangerines.

    • Advantages
This is an indestructible plant, my first time growing it. I kept it in the vegetative stage as long as possible, then switched it to flowering mode two days ago.
    • Disadvantages
      Nobody!!!
    • General impressions

It didn't maintain optimal pH, and the plant got sick. I fixed the error, now it's just a visual treat.
