Mimosa X Orange Punch Strain Info

The Mimosa X Orange Punch strain was born when its breeder skillfully backcrossed two elusive strains in their catalog. The results of this backcrossing were stupendous, creating a delicious and aesthetically pleasing Indica-dominant strain that offers 65% Indica with a still-generous 35% Sativa influence.

Genetics

To further enhance the phenotype of the strain, Mimosa X Orange Punch was created by backcrossing the highly popular Orange Punch weed strain and the cherished Mimosa Evo. This cross also improved the growth pattern and yields in comparison to its lineage.

Flowering Time

The flowering time of Mimosa X Orange Punch is an impressive and highly convenient 55-60 days!

Yields

Even with its short flowering time and improved indoor height, this strain builds up impressive yields of heavy, resinous buds, with outdoor plants reaching up to 1.5kg (3.3lbs) per plant and indoor plants offering up to 650-750g/m² (2.1-2.4oz/ft²).

Effects

The high THC levels of this strain, paired with its comfortable Indica to Sativa ratio, delivers wonderfully uplifting euphoric effects with a long-lasting happy feel.

THC And CBD Levels

This marijuana strain’s high THC levels, which test at 30%, are responsible for its potency, paired with a CBD level below medicinal classification.

Smell And Taste

It’s all in the name! Without a doubt, Mimosa X Orange Punch is noted for its thirst-quenching citrus flavors with hints of sweetness and mandarin, all thanks to a mimosa-rich terpene profile of beta-caryophyllene, linalool, and limonene.

Grow Tips

Growing this strain doesn’t take too much know-how, making it suitable for a first-time grow experience. The height of this plant is also advantageous, with outdoor heights of 150-180cm (59”-71”) and indoor heights of just 90-110cm (2'11"-3'7").

  • With a strain like Mimosa X Orange Punch that produces fairly dense buds, be sure to allow for thorough curing time to elevate its hidden flavors and aromas!
  • This strain can be grown both indoors and outdoors; however, it’s ideal for an effortless indoor grow.

    • General impressions

True love! Luckily, I live in a southern region, so I was able to grow it outdoors. It was something special. Yes, I had to support it with string and stakes. One kilo from a single plant is a new record. It was almost as tall as me, 1.80 m, and very wide. It flowered at the end of September. Very potent, but without the psychedelic stuff. Just a perfect high and spiritual relaxation for almost 5 hours. I grew the rest indoors. Everything went well there too, but it was nowhere near the outdoor yield, so I don't like growing indoors.

    • Advantages
Yield and power. The taste is also very pleasant.
    • Disadvantages
Beginners will find it difficult to determine the quantity of grams they need.
    • General impressions

"Germination is rapid and the success rate is 100%. This isn't new for Barney's. But that's not important. What matters is how the plants develop. They're compact and dense, so good ventilation and defoliation are essential. But it's not difficult to do. Very vigorous during its vegetative phase, very balanced, abundant flowering, and giant buds. I've never seen anything like it indoors. A very profitable strain for indoor growers. Plus, it produces a lot of resin and THC, so it's very economical. Not for daily use, though, as it's too strong. I lose track of time and have hallucinations for a while. I can't imagine what would happen to a beginner."

    • Advantages
For experienced growers, this variety is perfect. Strong, potent, and high-yielding.
    • Disadvantages
Demanding in terms of conditions and nutrition, it can be stressed. Not a good choice for beginners. For this same reason, I wouldn't risk growing it outdoors and I wouldn't recommend anyone try it.
    • General impressions

This strain is amazing! But only for experienced growers. It can be easily stressed. Stress can be easily resolved if detected. Experience is essential. It has a very fresh, herbaceous citrus aroma. Lots of resin and leaves. A bit tricky to prune, but that's just how it is. The plants aren't tall, under 3 feet, and very bushy. The branches need support; I'm a little disappointed I didn't do it using a SCROG setup. The vegetative stage lasted about 8 weeks due to stress. Flowering also took 8 weeks. I got an incredible 13 oz from 3 plants
