Description

Pineapple Chunk Strain Info

Pineapple Chunk from Barney’s Farm is an 80% Indica-dominant cannabis hybrid and one of the most hard-hitting strains in their collection. It fully deserves its Indica Cup that it won in 2009. While it’s not the easiest variety to grow, those that master it will be generously rewarded.

Genetics

A cross between Pineapple, Skunk #1, and Cheese, this plant combines many influences and thus has many phenotypes. But don’t worry – with a family tree like this, any pheno will be worth your time and effort.

Effects

The effects are energetic, euphoric, and cerebral at first, followed by a calming, relaxing, and even couch-locked feeling to leave you happily sleepy.

THC And CBD Levels

The THC content tests at 25% on average, which means the smoke packs a punch and is also very effective at treating chronic pain and insomnia. The level of CBD is also significant – at 1.1%, this strain can be considered a therapeutic variety.

Smell And Taste

The lavish terpene profile accounts for aromas that are earthy and cheesy, with hints of pineapple. The flavors are sweet and fruity, with cheesy and piney undertones.

Yields

The amount of bud you can harvest depends on your growing skills, the setup, and the phenotype. However, with care and patience, you should be rewarded with around 600g/m² (2oz/ft²) indoors.

Flowering Time

Buds can be ready for harvest in just 8-9 weeks of flowering time, but some plants that lean more to the Sativa side can take longer to mature. According to the breeder, plants grown outdoors finish in late September.

Grow Tips

The strain will generally grow one main big, long cola that goes from top to bottom, but can handle any type of training technique or method you choose. The plant height will be about 90-100cm (3-3.3ft) and will grow hard, dense, large buds that can easily be affected by mold or mildew. Providing a less humid environment during flowering will therefore help to ensure a healthy harvest. The strain can be a bit peculiar and tricky at times, so some experience and knowledge are recommended before planting these seeds.

  • This is a short plant that’s perfect for indoor growing.
  • Perform topping or FIMming for multiple colas and increased yields.

Pineapple Chunk Seeds

Buy these feminized seeds if you want ounces of dank, cheese-smelling buds from every plant in your garden. No stray males will bother you on your way to a top-quality harvest.

    • Advantages
      Really strong buds
    • Disadvantages
had to keep an eye on her to make sure she didn't get infected by anything
    • General impressions

Great strain. Be careful, as its effect comes on with a slight delay. If you overdose, you'll be lying down begging for mercy! :)) Low mold resistance. The effect is 10/10! I harvested over 100g of dried buds.

      Makes a delicious smoke
    • Disadvantages
A bit fussy about her diet
    • General impressions

She's a moody girl. I overfed her and she slowed down during the vegetative stage, but what I got after harvest was so good! I'll try growing her hydroponically and see how it goes.

      Like this variety
    • Disadvantages
      None
    • General impressions

I can recommend this for beginners and small spaces; it was very easy to grow and reached a final height of 85 cm. It almost completely filled its designated spot in the SCROG setup. The total yield of 150g surprised me; they look quite small, but almost all the buds are hard and dense with hardly any larvae.

    • Advantages
Four and a half ounces of beautiful shit! Beautiful nuggets coated in sugar. It's beautiful and smooth and goes down easily at any time. It's pretty strong shit! And a vine too!
    • Disadvantages
The pineapple piece is simply beautiful, and I haven't had any negative experiences with it that weren't my own doing. I absolutely recommend it to all outdoor growers who want a hassle-free grow and a few pots of really good buds.
    • General impressions

Pineapple Chunk has been my favorite crop to date and my very first perfect score.
I'm happy to give Barney's Pineapple Chunk a perfect 5 because:
      1) Seeds - Perfect. Both germinated without any problems and grew at a steady rate.
      2) Grow - Once again, perfect! Absolutely no problems with pests or mold, despite finishing in very humid conditions. I only needed to double the top layer.
and the piece took on a beautiful shape all by itself. Really sturdy branches that handled heavy heads in the wind without needing any supports.
For me, the perfect size. At just over 120 cm, it's ideal for remaining discreet. So pleasing to the eye, with large, long buds.
which extend towards the sky. Beautiful smell, especially last week.
I would classify Chunk as the perfect model for outdoor growing. Perfect size, sturdy, easy, quick, and simply unreal.
      3) Buds - Again, perfect. Easy to clean. It's not at all leafy or shaggy. The clump is nice and uniform with large, fan-shaped leaves
They don't pile up the buds. A few smaller ones at the bottom, but large, extremely pleasant pieces at the end. An excellent harvest.
My friends all love it, and it's always very satisfying to impress them with top-quality homegrown produce. I highly recommend Pineapple Chunk if you're planning your next outdoor grow; you won't be disappointed.
