One of the most sought after strains in Fast Buds’ collection, Pineapple Express Auto packs 20% THC and offers a high that’s extremely mind-warping for beginner users, but can be used as an energizing daytime smoke by those with more experience. Beware: it can also put you in a horny mood, so it’d be good to have your booty call on speed dial! The rich and sensual tropical flavor, dominated by pineapple, is also one-of-a-kind.

Description

Pineapple Express Auto Strain Info

There’s a ton of information out there from marijuana growers all over the world who have tried this strain and now swear by it. Growing big and fast while producing huge amounts of resinous, trichome-covered buds is what this auto-flowering version of the famous strain is all about.

Genetics

Pineapple Express Auto is a feminized Sativa-dominant hybrid, a cross between Skunk, Trainwreck, Hawaiian Sativas, and a Ruderalis. With such a glorious family tree, it’s bound to be a hell of a hybrid.

Effects

The effects produced by Pineapple Express Auto are very upbeat and pleasurable. This Sativa-dom is also a nice aphrodisiac, stimulating the sexual appetite in the twinkling of an eye.

THC And CBD Levels

20% THC means a psychedelic experience for most casual users, but smokers with some tolerance can probably handle Pineapple Express as their go-to daytime medicine. The above-average CBD percentage adds to the strain’s healing properties and makes the high less racy.

Smell And Taste

The buds of Pineapple Express are chock-full of terpenes. Of course, pineapple is the most predominant flavor and smell, but this is accompanied by other tropical, fruity, and sweet aromas.

Yields

The Pineapple Express cannabis strain partly got its name for one big cola spanning from top to bottom, visually resembling a pineapple. No wonder it produces XL harvests with the potential of 300g (10.6oz) per plant!

Flowering Time

If you’re looking for an autoflowering Sativa with a very short flowering period, look no further: this one finishes after just 9 weeks indoors and only a bit more outdoors.

Grow Tips

This strain will grow fast and furious, and can easily reach heights of 90-140cm (2’11”-4’7”) or even more if given enough root space. Long but relatively few branches will soon be filled with dense and hard buds covered with icing. Pineapple Express likes a slightly colder environment, so lower the temperatures by a few degrees and you’ll be rewarded with larger yields and even more trichomes.

  • Expect a lot of resin on everything, including stock and branches.
  • Plants will have tight internodes.
  • There’s also a good leaf-to-bud ratio for easy trimming.

It's been three weeks since my seeds separated, and I've already defoliated the plants twice, yet they continue to grow more leaves. There's still no sign of flowering; I expect them to remain in the vegetative stage for perhaps another week. As for growing conditions, I'm keeping them under a 400W HPS light at 26°C. I'm feeding one with GHE and the other with Etisso. Honestly, I don't see any difference.
