The Ultimate Lavender Autoflower

Ultraviolet is a feminized autoflowering cannabis strain brought to you by Samsara Seeds. A Sativa-dominant autoflowering strain, it was initially crossed between White Dwarf and Skunk followed by Lavender, which gave its main characteristics including her beautiful purple color, dense buds and high resin production.

A Beautiful Plant with Violet Hues

Growing Ultraviolet is a pleasure for any grower. Having a strong genetic lineage, this strain is totally worth all efforts. Due to its Sativa genetics, Ultraviolet tends to grow to a medium height, slightly taller and more spindly than some of the other White Dwarf x Skunk crosses in the Samsara range. Well cared for gardens can yield up to 400 g/m². This strain is known for its excellent resistance to mold and to pests such as fungus gnats and thrips which makes this the perfect choice for a beginner. To bring out the cyano-pigments that give the purple bud colour, ensure that daytime temperatures do not exceed 23˚ C from mid-flower until harvest.

Sweet and Purple

Ultraviolet has a phenomenal smell, taste and appearance; it has lovely pale green and purple buds covered in a dusting of trichomes. These frosty nuggets are sticky to the touch and leave your fingers covered in an aromatic resin containing myrcene and pinene amongst other terpenoid compounds.

- Advantages
  
  Smell: - It smells like tropical fruits. Maybe passion fruit or mango. Taste: - It has a sweet, fruity taste that fills your lungs like a thick, smoky fruit salad. Uplifting effect: I enjoyed a nice, high head. It made me happy and smiling.
- Disadvantages
  
  The only downside I found was that the high didn't last very long. I'd say 1 1/2 to 2 hours at most, with a fairly rapid comedown.
- General impressions
  
  Method: - Soilless, manual watering every 3 to 4 days. Medium: - 50/50 coco/perlite in 15L pots. Lighting: - Solis Tek 1000w dimmable digital ballast with Solis Tek 1000w HPS bulb. Nutrients: - Canna Coco A+B, Flairform CMX, Bud Juice, Canna PK13/14. Lighting schedule: - 18/6. Nutrient schedule: - Water directly with pH-d for the first 2 weeks and every 4 waterings throughout the growth phase. - 10 ml of Canna Coco A+B, 10 ml of Flairform CMX (week 3) - 20 ml of Canna Coco A+B, 10 ml of Flairform CMX (week 4, started flowering) - 30 ml of Canna Coco A+B, 10 ml of Flairform CMX, 10 ml of Bud Juice (weeks 5-8) - 10 ml of Canna PK 13/14 added to the regimen in weeks 7 and 8 - pH-balanced water for the last week

  Well, these girls smell great. They did have a few problems along the way, but I can attribute that to their inexperience indoors. Overall, I'm happy with how things went.
