Description

Fast Bud Auto: Rapid Growth

Fast Bud Auto was developed by Sweet Seeds as one of the quickest autoflowers in their catalogue. While fast, this strain does not compromise on quality and delivers heavy yields of tall, dense, aromatic flowers dripping with resin in lightning fast times!

A strain with Diesel origins, Fast Bud Auto leaves very little to be desired: a compact plant with multiple branches and many bud sites. This strain was designed to be fast; she yields between 400 – 500 g/m2 of large, resinous buds in a short 7.5 weeks from germination making this the perfect cash crop! While this strain is best grown indoors, it thrives in outdoor gardens too. Like most autoflowers, she prefers a minimum amount of nutrients so limited feeding to half the recommended strength. Here is some further information to help you grow this strain:

  • Short plant – depending on phenotype, this strain reaches a final height between 40 – 90 cm indoors and slightly taller outdoors.
  • Max EC of water – 1.0 in veg, up to 1.2 during flower.
  • Water pH; 5.8 – 6.0.
  • Recommended lighting: 600 W LED.
  • Recommended grow style: SoG due to a short height and apical dominance.

Sweet, Aromatic Resin – Perfect for Extracts!

Fast Bud Auto grows with a very typical Indica structure with slightly taller branches with longer internodal distance. This results in flowers with a high bud-to-leaf ratio and a sweet aroma with hints of spice. Fans of aromatic, resin-coated buds will be more than pleased with this strain.

It’s very easy to grow! Also I liked sour and sweet taste.
    • Disadvantages
      Nope
    • General impressions

This particular strain of genetics is my second attempt at growing it. This time, I decided to try an indoor cultivation, aiming to complete the entire cycle using only water. The taste of this strain is unique and hard to put into words, while the smell seemed to dissipate during the drying process. However, I encountered an abundance of pollen. During the initial three weeks of flowering, I provided light from the vegetative stage, which had some interesting consequences that I should mention, not forgetting the pruning done at the third week of the vegetative phase.

    • Advantages
the yield was very respectable for an autoflower. just over 122 gr of dry, trimmed flowers. the bud structure allows for some of the easiest trimming you will ever have. the smoke is quite smooth even without being cured. sign of a good flush and the clean white ash further confirmed a great flush. I wasn't expecting such potent smoke. I have pretty good tolerance and at first it didn't seem so strong but after a while or after your second/third spliff my face started to melt off. I went for a snack. my body was heavy and lethargic as if I had to ask permission from the other leg everytime I wanted to take a step. soon after eating it was all she wrote - nap time!

overall and given the harsh summer I'm very happy with how this strain performed. good potency, aroma/flavor. the effects are mostly body high, pure coughlocky really. good results and very easy to grow. will be recommending this fine genetic product

    • Advantages
The plant surprised me a lot and is different from the others. There seems to be a different logic when it comes to growth. The yield was spectacular for an autoflowering plant, 710g wet. The aroma is intense and fruity. The taste is already spicier, leaving a bit of spice in the mouth. The effects are relaxing and very pleasant.... if it continues like this after tanning it will become a delight...

Let's talk about the plant... the tops are beautiful, full and hard while the smaller ones at the bottom are very light, I had to cut them first. the plant, we were saying, is very different from those made so far... thousands of very small leaves surrounded the tops, I was convinced of the little presence of trichomes but cutting the leaves below made me think of a meadow... so I have I must say an excellent production... I conclude with the smell that invaded the room very particular and VERY GOOD...

Easy growing. I'd grow her again.
    • Disadvantages

    • General impressions

As a first time grower, I'm both happy and unhappy with this strain. It was easy to grow, despite some pretty hot days followed by rain storms. However, it took 4 weeks longer than the 7 weeks advertised and only yielded 150g. It's quite likely that the following didn't help the yield; planting her in the same 22l pot as a bean and tomato plant and having to hide her away for the last 3 weeks, for security reasons, restricting the amount of sunlight she got. There was the nice surprise of a second harvest of 1g dry of even stickier buds than the first harvest.
