Auto Bubble Gum: A Blast From The Past In Your Garden

The Auto Bubble Gum autoflowering cannabis strain was developed by crossing a Ruderalis with the rare Indiana Bubble Gum strain. This unknown strain was highly regarded in the early days of the cannabis scene. Now, it is back in autoflowering form to provide the aroma and flavor that so many fell in love with in the USA and Europe.

When growing Auto Bubble Gum autoflowering cannabis seeds, you should expect plants that have a maximum height of 130cm. Although this is considered relatively short, growers should not expect to fit her in grow spaces as small as a closet.

Another aspect that growers should prepare themselves for is her quick finishing time. Expect to harvest Auto Bubble Gum within 60 days from germination.

The Auto Bubble Gum strain is not heavily branched, which means she is perfect for placing into the Sea of Green method. By doing so, you will increase your chances of a large yield that is set to tip records.

  • Recommended Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients or Fox Farms for Hydroponics;
  • Plant to Lamp Distance: 50cm;
  • Indoor Humidity: Less than 65%;
  • Indoor Temperature: 32℃ or Less;
  • Odor: Heavy (use a high-quality carbon scrubber).

Packed With Fruity Flavors And Sedative Effects

The Auto Bubble Gum cannabis strain is loaded with tones of ripe strawberries that were freshly picked. The effects are swift and instantly transport your body into a state of bliss. While your head remains above the clouds, your body will become rooted to the spot.

    • Advantages
      Grows quickly with large yields. Tastes like fruity bubblegum and strawberry. Good high lasts a long time.
    • Disadvantages
      No red spider mites like the others say they've grown 6 times so far, different ones, no problem growing now
    • General impressions

      The plant grows quickly and easily; just water it and wait for harvest. I always grow in a mix of organic and Espoma soil. Use a 600w LED grow light to achieve a yield of 160 to 175 grams from two plants.

      I chose it solely because it was one of the cheapest autoflowering varieties, and what happened next was crazy. Under identical conditions, Bubble Gum grew bigger and stronger than AK Auto, and I got a decent yield for the 30W light I had. Both varieties were easy to grow and flowered despite the low light. Decent autoflowers! Thanks, Herbies!

      Many people talk about the spider mite problem when it comes to this strain. I don't know why, but it's the curse of Bubble Gum! I had to deal with it too, even though I ordered the seeds from another website. I think it's the seed bank's fault.

    • Advantages
      It started to flower very quickly
    • Disadvantages
      It's hungry for fertilizer. Maybe because of the spider mite.
    • General impressions

      I've been lucky enough to grow this plant twice in my life, the first time seven years ago, and now again. As I mentioned, this plant needs more fertilizer, and this becomes quite obvious when the plant turns pale. So I had to switch to organic fertilizers, and thankfully, the plant regained its color in just two days. However, I didn't have a chance to relax because the plant was infested with spider mites! Unfortunately, I didn't notice the problem right away, but the signs quickly became quite apparent: spots on the leaves and the webbing surrounding them. The measure I took was to increase the humidity in the room; I hope that helps. Interestingly, the Chocolate Skunk I grow in the same spot is resistant to spider mites and undemanding when it comes to fertilizer.
