Californian Orange is a 50% Sativa-50% Indica hybrid with its heritage partly shrouded in mystery. The breeders at Dutch Passion chose not to reveal Californian Orange’s parents, but this fabulous hybrid is endowed with the best orange savor on the market. With its energizing and uplifting effects, it is qualified as a social cannabis strain ideal for daytime.

Growing Californian Orange is an easy job. Thriving indoor and in greenhouses, this strain is suitable for the outdoors environment as well. The low difficulty of the growing process also comes from the attributes inherited from the Sativa and Indica genes, providing her with enough resistance for a satisfactory development. Because of the medium height of the scheme, it adapts well to indoor environments, yielding around 400 g/m². The blooming phase takes 9 weeks and, if grown outdoors, harvest time should be scheduled by the end of October. The terpenes levels are high and able to surround us with a strong orange smell.

  Although it's an indica/sativa hybrid, it grows quite tall. It develops like a pure sativa. My plant reached 3 meters.

  Absolutely. Taste and aroma are the main characteristics of this strain. Very clear. Kudos to Dutch for the terpene profile genetics.

  The photo is just a photo. Not too docile, not too powerful. She's stressed like all the others; she needs care and attention. But for that aroma, I can forgive her everything. It smells like orange peel with pepper and cinnamon.

  I took a chance and tried growing the plant in the greenhouse, and it grew all the way to the ceiling and hit it. Mold eventually appeared around the spot where it touched the glass. So I can't say it's mold-proof. But considering the damaged buds, I still got 500g total and 150g of dried product. Pretty decent potency.

  Fast shipping. 100% seed germination. Three lush bushes, the tips of which, closer to the end, turned orange themselves. Orange hairs, yellow-orange leaves. The aroma was out of this world. It's hard to describe, but the scent of fresh oranges was quite distinct. The buds are good in potency, but the high is more indica-like. In my experience, however, such an effect seems characteristic of all fruit, berry, and citrus genetics, like blackberry or blueberry; California orange is no exception. The grow wasn't difficult. Conditions were maintained for indica, humidity was monitored. I had a lot of foliage, thinned it out a bit about four times. I grew three plants in 12-liter bags. They weren't too tall, less than a meter. I used organic because I don't use anything else, as I prefer completely organic products without added salts in the buds. The effect is pleasant, more relaxing, as I mentioned earlier. It probably won't be possible to stay active, but it would be nice to chat or laugh with a group of friends. It's easy. But if you already feel some physical fatigue, you can go straight to bed after half an hour—it will relax you and help you fall asleep.
