Critical Hog is an Indica-dominant, feminised, photoperiod cannabis strain developed by TH Seeds. A cross between two legendary parents: Critical Bilbo - winner of numerous Spanish Cannabis competitions – and Hog’s Breath - High Times Indica Cannabis Cup Winner.

It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as Critical Hog definitely lives up to her notable genetic lineage. With an 8 week flowering period this mighty strain can deliver over 550g/m². Ideal for the beginner cultivator, Critical Hog is a hardy plant which yields thick, dense colas without fail. Growing techniques such as sea of green (SoG) can boost your harvest by creating a nice, even canopy and also reduces the final height of the plant for the space conscious grower. Tame your bushy beast by pruning any large, light blocking fan leaves to give all your buds a chance to bloom. - Advantages
  
  Smell and taste of earth and honey. Hashish at the front, sweet and kushy at the back. A dormant indica. The smell is strong but not overpowering.
- Disadvantages
  
  Lower yield, but it's very high quality so I'm not complaining. It probably needed more nutrients during flowering, but I didn't push that too far.

  It's worth a try!

  It was a great grow! I really love this strain; it's a great producer with high quality. It's a fairly easy variety to grow and can handle some challenging situations. I highly recommend this strain for growers of all experience levels! This harvest here is a Grape pheno that I've been working with for a few years now. It took some time to find, but once I did, I couldn't get enough of it! It has a very unique flavor and aroma; I even put the trim in tea for a grape bud taste!

  This phenotype I grew smells and tastes like grapes with hints of cheese, and a hashish aftertaste. Nice, smooth smoke. I tend to use it later in the day unless I'm really sore and need a little extra kick, but I've definitely had stonier strains. It grew quite easily and well, responds very well to topping, LSTing, and I know it can handle HTV. I broke a branch and it grew back with a vengeance 😜. I think this would be a good strain for beginner to expert growers! Overall, a good variety that produces very well, smokes very well, and is a good grow!

  I just tried this strain for the first time last night, then again this morning, and again now, and I'm in love. I'm not a big pure indica person, but I needed it for pain relief, nausea, and relaxation. It worked really well on all three levels without leaving me totally sleepy like most pure indicas... which was a great thing for me. I'm someone with a lot on my plate throughout the day. Plus, I found it much less harsh than many strains I've smoked lately. I didn't even need to add ice to my bong for once! A pleasant taste and aroma make Critical Hog the bomb all around.

  A huge variety! The densest buds you've ever seen! I always get a panic attack after smoking, but not with this. Critical Hog has such a good effect, very uplifting and happy!
