Critical Hog is an Indica-dominant, feminised, photoperiod cannabis strain developed by TH Seeds. A cross between two legendary parents: Critical Bilbo - winner of numerous Spanish Cannabis competitions – and Hog’s Breath - High Times Indica Cannabis Cup Winner.

It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, as Critical Hog definitely lives up to her notable genetic lineage. With an 8 week flowering period this mighty strain can deliver over 550g/m². Ideal for the beginner cultivator, Critical Hog is a hardy plant which yields thick, dense colas without fail. Growing techniques such as sea of green (SoG) can boost your harvest by creating a nice, even canopy and also reduces the final height of the plant for the space conscious grower. Tame your bushy beast by pruning any large, light blocking fan leaves to give all your buds a chance to bloom. Critical Hog produces plants which are caked in trichomes, a real sight to behold and ideal for cannabis extract enthusiasts. Here is more information to help you grow this strain:

- Advantages
  
  Smell and taste of earth and honey. Hashy up front, sweet and kushy in the back. Sleepy indica. The smell is strong but not overpowering.
- Disadvantages
  
  Lower yield, but it's very high quality so I'm not complaining. It probably wanted more food in bloom but I didn't push it too hard this round.

  It's worth a try!

  The nugs were absolutely gorgeous! Wow! The THC level is high! This lady is great for nighttime use or lazy mornings. Extremely soothing and relaxing for the body!

  This was a great grow! I really like this strain, it's a big producer with great quality. It's a pretty easy strain to grow and can handle some tough situations👌. I highly recommend this strain for any grower experience level! This harvest here is a Grape pheno I've been growing for a few years now. It took a while to find but once I did, I can't get rid of it!! It's a very unique flavor and smell, I've even put the topping in tea for a grape bud taste!

  This phenotype I grew has a grapey smell and taste with cheesy undertones, and a hashy taste on the exhale. Nice smooth smoke. I tend to use it later in the day unless I'm really sore and need a little extra punch, but I've deff. had stoner strains. It grew pretty easy and well, responds great to topping, LSTing, and I know it could handle HST. I broke off a branch and it grew back with a vengeance😜. I think this would be a good beginner to expert strain! Overall, a good strain, produces great, smokes great, and is a good grow!

  I just tried this strain for the first time last night, then again this morning, and again now and I'm in love. I'm not a big pure indica person, but I needed this for pain, nausea, and relaxation. It worked great on all three levels without leaving me totally sleepy like most pure indicas... this for me was a great thing. I'm someone with a lot to accomplish throughout the day. Also, I found it to be much less harsh than many strains I've smoked lately. I didn't have to add ice to my bong, for once! A pleasant taste and smell make Critical Hog the bomb overall.

  Great strain! The densest buds you've ever seen! I always get a panic attack after smoking, but not with this one. Critical Hog has such a great effect, very uplifting and happy!
