Frisian Dew: A Visually Impressive Hybrid

Frisian Dew cannabis strain results from crossing a Super Skunk female and a Purple Star male. The plant is endowed with beautiful purple buds coated with resin during flowering. Its genetics provide high resistance to harsh growing conditions, making it easy to grow outdoors.

High Resistance and Short Flowering Time

Frisian Dew genetics are 50% Indica-Sativa. Resulting from the blend of a Super Skunk and a Purple Star, this plant develops well in outdoor environments because of its high mold resistance, making it simple to grow and harvest even in the coldest climates.

Frisian Dews phenotypes succeed well in greenhouses and outdoors. The strain can grow up to 3 meters and produce over 1 kg of buds with a fruity taste. Her photoperiod dependence demands at least 18 light hours during vegetation and 12 hours during flowering. The blooming phase won't take more than 8 weeks and, if grown outdoors, harvest should be scheduled for the end of October. The buds take a purple color, which delights the view of any grower. The THC level is average but enough to provide a strong and long lasting relaxing effect. Overall, this variety grows easy without demanding special care, a fact that makes her suitable for the less experienced.

  • Grow difficulty: Easy. High mold resistance.
  • Lights: Led 400 W Vegetation/Led 400 W Flowering.
  • Pot size: >12 L for optimized yield.
  • pH: 6,2 Vegetation/ 6,7 Flowering.
  • EC: 2.0.
  • Climate: Hot/Mild/Cold.
  • Fertilization: average fertilization with pH control.
  • THC range: from 7 to 15%.

Exquisite Fruity Aroma and Flavor

Frisian Dew provides an exquisite fruity aroma and flavor like fresh mango combined with pine notes. The high levels of THC produce a balanced long lasting, relaxing effect along with euphoric and happy feelings.

    • Advantages
Easily reaches full maturity at 54 latitude.
    • Disadvantages
Personally, I haven't found any, and my friends and I are happy with it.
    • General impressions

I've been growing this strain for a long time, about 10 years. It's a beautiful strain with a perfectly balanced effect! Yields are always above average, and it thrives at latitude 54. I've encountered two phenotypes of this plant. The first flowers three weeks earlier and finishes at the end of September, while the second needs more time, finishing in mid-October. Both turn blue every time and are perfect for cloning. The clones are ready to plant just two weeks after being cut. I've been growing one of my plants for five years. I usually put my clones outside in early May because even if there's a bit of frost, it doesn't matter to them, and they'll stay strong. I make new clones in late July or early August and keep them in the vegetative stage until the following year. I've also tried pollinating them, but nothing good has come of it! This strain doesn't have males, only females. I've tried many other strains, but this one is excellent. It's also very potent with a well-balanced effect. And it's not just my opinion! Grow, it's worth it.

It did extremely well during the best weather. The summer was very cold, and in the autumn nights, the temperature dropped to 0 degrees Celsius, but the plant didn't suffer at all. It gave me beautiful, large, solid buds with lovely purple colors. I've had it for two years now, and it will definitely grow again next year. Great work, Dutch Passion.

Two seeds appeared in mid-April. They were among the first to germinate and begin to grow. Three weeks after germination, one of the seedlings had five nodes and was the strongest of about twenty other seedlings. The other planting had only three nodes and was of average strength.
One glider was planted in a 35-litre container in early June and grown in a garden. The other was planted in a pre-prepared hole in a guerrilla garden in the countryside (composted manure, worm castings and dolomitic lime added to the soil).
The plant in the garden had minor insect problems in June and recovered without any issues. The guerrilla grow was about 170 cm tall by the end of June, a well-built sativa with about 16 nodes, and tiny buds just beginning to form.
At the end of August, the guerrilla plant was damaged by deer (approximately 25 cm of outer bark and lower branches chewed). The buds continue to grow, and some pistils are already turning brown. In contrast to the garden plant, there was very little leaf chlorosis in the guerrilla plant.
The two plants finished a week in mid-September, producing plump, fleshy buds with small leaves. The aroma is delicate, fruity, and rather unobstructed. The garnish was a piece of cake.

High tension for Northern Europe, or similar climatic zones. Great acclimatized genetics!!!
A must for outdoor growing, it started flowering early and was ready by the 3rd week of September, just before the "big pluviome" arrived.
She developed Huuuge Maincolas and big buttons around .........
A very economical plant, lots of flowers, fewer leaves, easy to fill in.
      a veritable working plant

Great outdoor tension for growth, a nice yield. The smell and taste are unique—a grocer that can't be categorized with notes of any kind of fruit. The high is pleasant, medium for good herbs. Would grow it again. Located outdoors in northern New England during a rainy summer and I had no problems. Looking forward to trying Friesian Duck...
