Jack 47 Auto: The Best of Jack 47 in Less Time!

Jack 47 Auto is an automatic variant of Jack 47 – their popular Sativa-dominant hybrid. Resulting as a cross between an autoflowering Jack Herer and an in-house development AK 47, this strain has been described as “probably the most potent autoflowering strain available in the market”.

When you buy a 3^rd generation autoflower (such as this), you know you are paying for quality and consistency – key components of any cannabis grow. This is a fantastic indoor strain due to its medium height and stature, heavy bud production and rapid flowering period. Those who are fans of either of the parents and/or the original Jack 47 will love this quicker, repackaged variant.   I'm really happy with the germination rates and growth speed of this thing. The seed split after two days in water and started growing roots pretty quickly. Another thing I found important is the aroma; it starts to develop around week two. Also, this strain is really flexible, just like Play-Doh, it trains well.

  One seedling didn't thrive in the open ground; perhaps it was due to my excessive care.

  My first time growing. Planted 2 seeds on September 14th, harvested on November 10th. I harvested the buds earlier than planned because I started noticing amber trichomes, and I'm not a big fan of strong rock. One plant died after I transplanted it, so I had to plant another one a week later. The second one, judging by its appearance, is going to take longer to flower. I'm trying to control my urges, so I haven't experimented with anything yet. For the first two weeks, I kept it on 24 hours a day, then switched to 20/4. Bottom lights were on at night. Temperature regime: 22-28°C during the day and 18-21°C at night. Humidity was always at 30-50%, but sometimes it dropped quite low because I live in a dry climate, so I had to buy a mini humidifier. Fast growth. I had some phosphorus deficiency issues because I was being too careful not to overfeed it. I was using SCROG, but the plant wasn't tall enough to reach the netting, and I couldn't lower it because of the large Caramel trichome growing underneath. I used wire and bent the plant, securing it to the pot. I also started thinning out all the largest leaves at the bottom of the bush as soon as flowering began. It's 40cm tall. The aroma is wonderful, reminiscent of grapefruit zest. Now I'm waiting for it to dry, then I'll harden it. Overall, it's definitely been a positive experience. If I could change one thing, I would have started bending it earlier because that way I would have had much more impressive results. Grow box 70x70x160cm, 15L fabric pots, soil with increased perlite content, 150W LED panel, additional LED at the bottom of the box, Biobizz fertilizer, permanent ventilation + a coil filter.
