Blue Angel strain’s main feature is its incredibly short flowering time of just 6-7 weeks. Amazingly, this is enough for the buds to become extremely resinous and potent. When smoked, the smell of blueberries and lemon ushers in a happy buzz that envelopes both mind and body. Use it in the afternoon and evening to fight fatigue and stress or soothe your nerves after a long day. The feeling of calm euphoria is often accompanied by an insatiable appetite.
Description
Blue Angel Seeds Info
Blue Angel is among the fastest photoperiod strains on the market and can be grown by those who want their outdoor plants to finish early in fall. Indoors, this 80% Indica guarantees the fastest turnover possible without compromising on either quality or yield size.
Genetics
Blue Angel was created by crossing an Afghani with Freedom of Seeds’ own Romberry, which in turn carries the DNA of a Romulan (whose family tree is a total mystery) and a Blueberry. All of these cultivars are Indicas or Indica-doms, with only a little Sativa influence.
Effects
The calming yet buzzy effect of Blue Angel is very pleasant and makes this weed a good choice for beginners to ease themselves into the world of modern potent cannabis. It provides a kind of a warm blanket for your senses, protecting you from the stresses of everyday life.
THC Levels
The exact THC content of Blue Angel is unknown, but it’s safe to assume that this weed falls into the medium-strong category.
Smell And Taste
Blue Angel’s lineage is from all over the world, which makes its terpene profile full of subtle (and not so subtle) notes. With fruits and berries in the foreground, it’s also reminiscent of spice, rich earth, and pine needles.
Yields
Indoors, Blue Angel yields around 400-450g/m² (1.3-1.5oz/ft²), which may seem like not much, but only before you consider the strain’s amazing speed.
Flowering Time
From the moment you reprogram your timer to a 12/12 light schedule and to the day the buds are mature enough to create a top-notch smoke, you’ll need only 45 days. However, you can let your plants flower longer to get fatter and heavier buds with stronger and more sedating effects.
Grow Tips
When grown from clones in a grow tent, Blue Angel reaches a height of 3-4 feet. Outdoors, plants are seldom much taller – about 4-5 feet by harvest time.
- This strain produces sturdy plants with thick stems and branches.
- Expect a thick layer of short-stalked resin glands.
- Plants may require defoliation for better light penetration.
