Bubba Island Kush is a feminized photoperiod cannabis strain developed by Dutch Passion Seeds as a cross between a pre-1998 Bubba Kush and two North American staples – Granddaddy Purple and OG Kush. This strain a modern, tropical twist on strains that have been loved by the cannabis community for decades!

Due to her relatively short height – less than 1.5 m – Bubba Island Kush is best grown using a ‘sea of green’ arrangement using powerful lighting. As a result of her Indica-dominant genetic lineage, she has a very short flowering period of less than 7.5 weeks meaning experienced growers can complete the entire cycle in less than 12 weeks.
To take this strain to the next level, drop the temperatures towards the end of the flower for a beautiful finish of autumn colours. This strain truly is top-shelf and growers will be pleased with her excellent results in lightning fast times!
