The Bruce Banner #3 Fast strain is aptly named after The Incredible Hulk due to its high strength and potency. This is a feminized hybrid leaning toward the Indica side of things (65% Indica/35% Sativa) that has even heavier and more relaxing effects than the original due to its 25% THC and higher Indica dominance.

Genetics

Original Sensible Seeds created Bruce Banner #3 Fast by crossing Colorado Ghost OG (an OG Kush descendant) with Strawberry Diesel (Strawberry Cough x Sour Diesel). Then, they added Black Domina into the mix to reduce the flowering time without affecting yields or potency.

  A little early to describe the overall impression, but I love its fruity/piney aroma and flavor right from the start. Nighttime smoke for me, great with a movie. The buds are quite loose and airy and will depend on your personal preferences. Lots of trichome coverage, and the buds are extremely sticky to handle even after 7 days of drying. The few buds that didn't... uh, survive harvest were sampled and provide a satisfying THC hit around the ribs, as well as a surprisingly pleasant taste despite the extremely premature curing process. Would happily grow this strain again. Big thanks to Herbies!

  BB 3 Fast is doing okay, but not really great, and I'm worried that BB3 is becoming brittle. So, I'm not encouraging growth with my compost tea. Instead, I've given it a rooting promoter that stops its vertical growth. How does compost tea accelerate growth? I'm using fruit compost tea that has a blend with banana blossom. Banana blossom compost tends to lengthen and accelerate growth. However, it's like soybean sprouts. They're big and fast but brittle. Where I live, banana blossom is abundant and is part of the banana harvest waste. Far from it, they're thrown out. And some have made way for compost tea. A fungus growing on a banana blossom produces gibberellin. Gibberellin stretches plants. The way I slow growth is by adding a rooting promoter. This particular one has IAA in it. The effect is a thickening of the cell walls. The height will not increase. This week, BB3 has stopped growing altogether. Hopefully, the plant will be tougher. Next week, BB3 Fast will go into a larger container. It's the rainy season, and I want the soil to drain well, so I'm going to use a laundry basket as a container.

  SMOKE UPDATE: After 8 weeks in the pot, the aroma and flavors are really coming through. The buds have tightened up nicely as they dried, and the THC hit is instantaneous (before the end of the first exhale) and might surprise those with lower tolerances. That said, the effects don't last long and can dissipate in under an hour, making them easy to manage. The buds have settled down nicely and no longer have the "airy" appearance they had at first. Of the four strains I've grown this cycle, this is the one my friends keep asking about, "Do I have any left?"

  This is a very easy strain to grow and can tolerate more fertilizer (organic). It performed very well outdoors, and this time I had no mold during the last few weeks of flowering. The weather was beautiful and sunny, but I flushed it. The flavor is sweet, and the effect is so strong that the depression disappears immediately, and you fall into a deep sleep towards the end. I'll upload more pictures of dried buds soon.
