  The buds did not grow as big as expected but are quite dense, due to stretching, and appeared to be a sativa-dominant phenotype.

  The effect upon consumption is a very good, relaxing body buzz and works great for insomnia. The typical GDP grape flavor really starts to come through as it cures, but the buds also give off a lovely caramel aroma.

  Blimburn's Granddaddy Purple is truly a great smoke! ...and is now one of my favorites. The aromas of grapes, berries, and cream that emanate from this sweet beauty can really make your mouth water. The production of hard, dense buds makes these sweet, sugary buds a treat for everyone.
  The intense effect of the GDP lasted approximately two and a half to three hours without any problems.
  This variety is worth growing. GDP responded well after topping and didn't seem bothered by LST and defoliation sessions.

  I wanted to wait until the buds were fully cured before blowing on that lady. Which is difficult in itself. LOL. Anyway, patience can be part of the excitement of the building. That, and who would want to smoke quality weed when it's not quite ready yet?
  This beautiful girl has produced dense buds with an excellent aroma that leads you to its intense range of flavors. These include, but are not limited to, berries, grapes, or a fine wine on the inhale, and a light, creamy honey lingering on your palate on the exhale. An extremely flavorful and high-quality smooth smoke. And that's not all.
  The initial hit is very pleasant. With uplifting sensations, making you laugh or get up and go, it's enjoyable for daytime use. But be warned, when its uplifting effects begin to wear off a few hours later, you'll want to sit back and relax for a while. Whatever happens at that moment, you'll be looking to unwind for quite some time. Until your next hit, of course.
  It grows well and vigorously during the vegetative cycle. But be careful of its stretching after switching to a 12/12 light cycle; it can roughly double in height. Keeping good nuts available for GDP to nibble on throughout its life cycle is crucial for a successful harvest. Happy tree, happy me!

  I harvested it yesterday on day 117... I just smoked some scissor-cut hash ✂️ and I can say wow!! Incredibly flavorful and a perfect afternoon smoke... I couldn't weigh it, but I can say over 300g of fresh buds... even from the scissors and gloves, I collect around 0.5g of charas... 💪🏻
