Excellent for SCRoG

One of the best aspects of growing hybrid cannabis strains is their wide range of shapes and sizes – Jack Herer is a Sativa-dominant hybrid which grows as tall as 1.2 m with strong, flexible branches which makes her great for growing via SCRoG. Indoor yields for this fast-growing hybrid are 500 – 600 g/m2 while outdoor growers can expect to bring in as much as 450 g per plant! Here is some further information to help you grow this strain:

  • Short height – Jack Herer reaches a final height of 80 – 120 cm – a fantastic indoor strain!
  • Max EC of water – 1.6 in veg, up to 2.0 in flower.
  • Recommended nutrients: CANNA COCO range.
  • Recommended grow method: 15 L pots with organic soil to bring out the best flavour and greatest yield Jack Herer has to offer.

An Invigorating Sativa-dominant Hybrid!

Jack Herer’s Sativa-leaning genetic lineage gives her a very balanced effect – a long-lasting, invigorating high that keeps you uplifted for hours on end. The ideal strain for daytime use, Jack Herer is very popular among medical and recreational users both due to her high cannabinoid content and well-refined terpene profile.

    • Disadvantages
      Unstable
    • General impressions

I ordered 5 seeds; 2 died, 2 sprouted, and 1 is still pending. Both plants were grown in organic soil with organic nutrients. Both plants received the exact same pH (5.3-5.5) of balanced water. Both plants produced very well. However: 1. Plant A germinated first (1 week earlier) but took much longer to flower. 2. Plant B replaced the first seed, which hadn't germinated but still finished flowering and was ready to harvest 2 weeks before plant A. 3. Plant A was dark green with thin, fan-shaped leaves, and later, large or small, fans would have at least 9-11 "fingers." 4. Plant B was a much lighter yellow/green/gray—actually a very beautiful color. The fan leaves weren't as thin as those of plant A, and the later fans only had 5 to 7 "fingers." And then there's the fact that neither smelled like traditional Jack Herer, like pine. I've managed to grow Jack Herer in the past and really enjoyed it. This variety isn't stable and doesn't resemble Jack Herer at all.

    Good morning!

    Thank you for your feedback.

Seeds are living biological material, and their ability to germinate can be affected by a wide range of external factors. Therefore, it is impossible to guarantee 100% germination. Seed banks guarantee maximum germination, meaning that 70% of the seeds in a packet will germinate (for example, 3 out of 5). The most important thing is to provide a favorable environment throughout the entire germination process.

The occurrence of two seeds from the same packet growing into two plants with different appearances can be explained by the plant's phenotype—most modern varieties are hybrids that combine different parental genetics (indica and sativa). For this reason, seeds of the same variety, and even from the same packet, can potentially grow into two different plants. For example, in a "Serious 6" variety, approximately half the plants would have a purple hue, and the other half would have a regular green color. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that the plants will be 50% purple and 50% green. The ratio could be 4:2 and 5:1, or even 6:0. The aroma can also vary for the same reason.

Seed banks always aim for genetic stability in their varieties, but even so, deviations can sometimes occur. The chances of this happening are relatively low, but it's possible. The problem you encountered was most likely with a particular packet of seeds, not with the variety itself.

    • Advantages
Super strain made me energetic, talkative, and elated.
    • Disadvantages
May cause dry mouth. Long flowering period.
    • General impressions

A truly incredible strain with massive flowers! Every part of the plant will be covered in buds! The only thing that bothered me a little was its flowering time. It definitely needs more time to finish than other strains, but the result is amazing! This is a strain I'll be pushing with a challenge! If you can wait a bit longer for flowering, this is the best way to grow. Excellent sativa/indica mix. First time using GH nutrients and I really liked them.

    • Advantages
Made me energetic, giggling, and happy
    • Disadvantages
May cause dry mouth. Susceptible to mold.
    • General impressions

I was eagerly awaiting this variety. The plant grew and flowered well. The harvest was good. - Pot - 14 liters - But it's better to use 20 L! - Substrate 50%, coco coir 10%, perlite 40% - Rainwater - Vegetation - 150W LED lights - Flowering - Sun only - Outdoors - Chicken drops, calcium - 2 weeks of flushing with clear rainwater - Harvest 134 days after germination. JACK IS A BEAUTIFUL, BIG PLANT. It's a bit prone to mold; I had to use a mold insecticide spray. The harvest is good, and the quality and taste are vibrant.
