Excellent for SCRoG

One of the best aspects of growing hybrid cannabis strains is their wide range of shapes and sizes – Jack Herer is a Sativa-dominant hybrid which grows as tall as 1.2 m with strong, flexible branches which makes her great for growing via SCRoG. Indoor yields for this fast-growing hybrid are 500 – 600 g/m2 while outdoor growers can expect to bring in as much as 450 g per plant! Here is some further information to help you grow this strain:

  • Short height – Jack Herer reaches a final height of 80 – 120 cm – a fantastic indoor strain!
  • Max EC of water – 1.6 in veg, up to 2.0 in flower.
  • Recommended nutrients: CANNA COCO range.
  • Recommended grow method: 15 L pots with organic soil to bring out the best flavour and greatest yield Jack Herer has to offer.

An Invigorating Sativa-dominant Hybrid!

Jack Herer’s Sativa-leaning genetic lineage gives her a very balanced effect – a long-lasting, invigorating high that keeps you uplifted for hours on end. The ideal strain for daytime use, Jack Herer is very popular among medical and recreational users both due to her high cannabinoid content and well-refined terpene profile.

    • Advantages
      Super strain
Made me energetic, talkative and uplifted
    • Disadvantages
      Can cause dry mouth
      Long flowering time
    • General impressions

Really amazing strain with massive flowers! every part of plant will be covered with buds! only thing that made me a little bit upset was her flowering time. She really needs more time to be finished than other strains, but the result is amazing! The is a strain that I will defiantly grow again! If you can wait a little longer for flowering she is best solution to grow. Great mix of sativa /indica.
First time using GH nutrients and I really liked them.

    • General impressions

I was looking forward to this strain. The plant it grew well and bloomed nicely. The harvest was good.
      -Pot - 14 litres - But it's better to use 20 L !
      -substrate 50% , coco 10%, perlite- 40%
      -rainwater
      - vegetation - LED lights 150W
-blooming - sunshine only - outdoor
      - chicken drops , calcium
      - 2 week flushing of clear rainwater
      -harvest 134 day from germination
JACK IS A BEAUTIFUL LARGE PLANT. It's a bit prone to mold, I've had to use mold spraying. The harvest is good and the quality and taste is vivid.

    • Advantages
      None not stable.
    • Disadvantages
      Not stable
    • General impressions

      I ordered 5 seeds 2 died,2 grew 1 still waiting.
Both plants were grown in organic soil, with organic nutrients.
Both plants received the exact same Ph (5.3-5.5) balanced water.
      Both plants produced very nicely.
      But:
      1. Plant A was germinated first (1 week earlier) but took much longer to flower.
      2. Plant B was a replacement for the first seed that did not germinate but still finished flowering and was ready for harvest 2 weeks before plant A
      3. Plant A was a dark green with slender fan leaves and later fans, large or small would have at least 9-11 "fingers"
      4. Plant B was a much lighter yellow/green/grey actually a very beautiful color. The fans leaves were not as slender as plant A and later fans would have only 5-7 "fingers".
And then there is the fact that neither smelled piney like traditional Jack Herer.
I have successfully grown Jack Herer in the past and really enjoyed it.
This strain is not stable and does not resemble Jack Herer.

    Hello!

    Thank you for your review.

Seeds are live biological material, their ability to germinate can be affected by a wide range of external factors. Thus it is impossible to guarantee a 100% germination. The seedbanks guarantee maximum germination, meaning that 70% of seeds in a pack will germinate (for example, 3 out of 5). The most important is to provide the supportive environment during the whole germination process.

The event when two seeds from the same pack grows up into two different-looking plants can be explained by the phenotype of the plant - most of modern strains are hybrids that combine different parent genetics (indica and sativa) in it.  For this reason seeds of the same strain and even from the same pack may eventually grow into 2 different plants. For example, in a "serious 6" strain, about half of the plants would have a purple tint, and another half would have an ordinary green color. However, it won't necessarily mean that plants will be 50% purple and 50% green. The ratio might be 4/2 and 5/1 or even 6/0. The smell too may vary for the same reason.

The seedbanks are always aim for the genetic stability of their strains , but even so it can sometimes go south. The chances for this to happen are relatively small, but it is possible. The problem you have faced most likely could be with a particular seed pack, not with a strain itself.

Recently, we discussed this issue by the e-mail and offered you a solution. We are currently waiting for your reply.

    Respectfully, Herbies Team
