It’s no miracle how easily NYC Diesel found a place in the heart of many weed growers and leaf blowers. She’s a predominantly Sativa (75%) variety that delivers good amounts of a very strong end product, and which has an absolutely unique citrusy aroma, with a flavor reminiscent of diesel fuel.
Genetics
The family tree of NYC Diesel combines influences from all over the world, and is believed to be the result of crossing Sour Diesel with an Afghani Indica and a Hawaiian Sativa. Such diversity couldn’t help but make the resulting genetics strong and unique.

Smell And Taste
In the later stages of flowering, these plants develop a very concentrated terpene profile: a somewhat bitter diesel, and sour aroma with whiffs of grapefruit and lime. Yields

The flowering time of 65 days isn’t quite record-breaking, but is very short for seeds with such a pronounced Sativa dominance. Outdoors, buds will be fully mature in late October.
Grow Tips
The Sativa character of these seeds can be clearly seen in the growth structure of the plant. It’s relatively tall even indoors, where it grows to a height of 120-150cm (4-5ft). Outdoors, plants will reach a height of 150-200cm (5-7ft).

- Prune lower branches when necessary.
- Lollipop to direct all energy to the upper bud sites.
- Make sure your climate is warm enough for outdoor cultivation.
