- All my strains did great. They all except 4 out of 5 of my grandmommy purple seeds germinated. But 4 of my gmp seeds didn’t and my gelato auto seed didn’t pop. I’d thought it was me but my other 15 seeds did germinate and pop. It’s my first time buying seeds online and I am just trying to find a place I can trust. The Blueberry Hill is doing excellent as well as the gorilla glue auto.

- Ive placed multiple orders Herbies seeds now & have only had excellent service. They say delivery to me here in New Zealand could take up to 6 weeks, but the longest Ive had to wait for seeds to arrive at my door is 3 weeks. 1 of my orders took just 1 week to get here. Another order got lost in transit & by week 3 I mentioned it to the online chat person & they sent me a full replacement of my original order plus a couple bonus seeds which arrived discretely less than 2 weeks later. Always quality seeds at competitive prices & always shipped discreetly.

If you're one of those "weirdos" who read reviews before making a purchasing decision. Or perhaps you prefer your information to be as detailed as possible before making a purchase. Then this is the post for you. I read through all 67 pages of reviews and couldn't find a comprehensive review, only bits and pieces scattered across different reviews. It is important to note that results may vary and that this is my personal experience.
My journey began with a conversation with Lea, who assisted me in selecting strains and also informed me that I would have to pay for the shipping of the gifts separately. With this information in hand, I made my purchase on the 9th of March. My purchase qualified for all tiers of gifts, but a discount code kept me a dollar short of the storage bag and one bonus seed short. This was something I mentioned to Daniel, the person in charge of my purchase. He was gracious enough to approve my request to have those reinstated, and by the 15th of March, my souvenirs were in the air, out of Spain for delivery.
Shipping to my country is expected to take 19-23 days according to the shipping information tab. So I waited, unsure whether this meant from the time of purchase or when the package left Spain. There have been no updates to the tracking system as of the 31st of March. Then it must be between 19 and 23 days from the time the packages leave Spain. Still, no updates 8th of April. Meanwhile, I see grawmies from Australia and New Zealand who are geographically further away from Spain than I am receiving packages in 14 days! (Perhaps this isn't how it works?) I decide to contact support, who directed me to claims’ department Gabriel. He agreed that having no updates didn't look good, and if there aren't any by the end of the week, he'll arrange for a replacement. Considering that EOW was only a day away (8/4), I was not optimistic, but to my surprise the next morning, tracking had updated that my shipment had arrived in the country. But the next updates would quickly kill that feeling for me.

An exceptional incident has occurred.

"Entry at the destination exchange office. It has been detected that documentation is missing for this shipment"
And later:
Held by customs. (This might have been a translation misunderstanding from synonyms because Correos uses Spanish and the tracking apps just translate that which made it sound worse because on my local post office tracking it showed “With customs” instead).
With this information, I contacted support, who forwarded me to Gabriel once more. I was assured that because the goodies were not packaged as a shop order, there would be no way to trace the items back to me if the souvenirs were discovered. This made sense because Customs had to manually evaluate the packages to ensure the declared value corresponded to similar items. I should state right away that the taxman here wants and will be paid. Aside from letters, everything imported into my country is taxed, and you won't believe how much I had to pay. But we'll get to that later.
Since it was Friday, April 8th, there would be no further movement on the package until Monday. Monday arrives, and my packages have cleared customs. This is good, but it is not the home stretch. It was now at the post office, and they needed to be paid. I receive a text message informing me that my packages have a customs fee applied to them and that I must physically go and collect them. You, of course, do not want this. When you go to pick up the items, they will usually instruct you to open them up so they can compare declared vs contents and then determine actual vs attached value. Souvenirs may fall out, you don’t want to risk this. They do offer last-mile delivery, but the process takes some time (3 days), which I don't mind because peace of mind is preferable. I begin the last-mile process. Of course, they want me to provide identification and a valuation for the items (receipts). And at this point, I'm panicking because I have no idea what the declared value of the items was or what they looked like when they were shipped.
I immediately contacted customer service. I was connected to Nelly this time. I explained my situation, and she said she'd never heard of anything like it before, but she honored my request and sent me pictures of the packages. Mine were sent as gifts for €10 each, and this was the information I needed to get around. I immediately returned to the dispatch agent and informed them that I did not purchase them and that they were gifts from/because xxx, with package 1 containing xxx and package 2 containing xxx. So, the values on the packages and contents aligned, and I received a customs & excise invoice for €10.16, which is more than half the total of both packages combined, €20. You wouldn't believe what we go through with the taxman here. Anyway, 13th of April, everything has been delivered to my door. Discreetly packaged, the souvenirs are safe and look good and everything is accounted for.
If you're not sure how wonderful the customer service is since one of the reviews says they had a poor experience, read on. Allow this to dispel any doubts you may have. Because it is the service, not the products, that keeps a customer coming back. When you need information quickly, that 24/7|31 live service will come in clutch.
Overall, I've had a positive experience both before and after becoming a customer. They could have left me to sort it out on my own at any moment after I'd completed my order and the shipment was in the air. They did, however, immediately show up whenever I had a question. Even when the request was unusual and they'd never heard of it before, I was treated as an individual customer with a unique request and was subsequently armed with the information I needed to navigate an otherwise would've been unpleasant experience with the taxman.
Since I’ll not be sprouting these immediately as I am on a practice run with our local landrace, I’ll miss out on the 4/20 deals because I need to space out the “gifts”. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the Christmas sale!
TLD;
•4 weeks to Kenya. Bought 9/3. Out of Spain 15/3. Arrived locally 8/4. Customs and clearance 11/4. Last-mile 12/4. Delivered 14/4.
•Held by Customs/With Customs is not Seized by Customs. Don’t panic yet, but it might go the other way too.
•I needed a reason for the gifts. e.g., Parent company sending remote employees branded xxx, etc.
Things I’d do differently with what I know now information;
•Buy more souvenirs and request that they are split into two packages and forego the gifts. It’s easier to explain two gifts of the same value once a year.

•Daniel: Handled my checkout process. Added back gifts and seeds that were removed by applying a promo code.
•Gabriel: For keeping me assured that my shipment will make it to me and if it doesn’t, it won’t be traced back to me.
•Nelly: For acknowledging an unusual request while still providing me with the information I needed to complete the final mile.

Luckily, I clicked on the second URL as the Herbies Autoflowering link that is listed first does not work. Maybe look into getting this updated as someone might have assumed the second one doesn’t work either and missed out on a wonderful experience.

- in 75% of all orders of this kind, bullshit happens. Was looking for a good shop myself for a long time. Less than 2 days after the order was placed, the thing arrived with UPS cash on delivery!
