Description
Big Bud Auto Strain Info
Big Bud Auto is a feminized autoflowering cannabis strain that’s based on the famous old-school variety of the same name. Much like her photoperiod parent, she provides dense, oversized buds with very little leaf.
Genetics
A refugee fleeing from the War on Drugs, the original Big Bud was brought from the U.S. to the Netherlands, where she has survived from the 1980s to this day. Though her specific lineage is unknown, this weed is believed to carry the DNA of such classics as Northern Lights, Skunk #1, and Afghani.
Effects
True to her Indica lineage, Big Bud Auto creates a deeply relaxing full-body sensation that can often aid sleep – perfect for bedtime use or winding down after a long day.
THC Levels
Autos in general are not expected to be especially hard-hitting, but this one is blessed with THC content of up to 23%, guaranteeing you a few hours of deep stone from just a couple of hits.
Smell And Taste
Not especially smelly in flower, Big Bud Auto has a delicate aroma that’s beautifully complemented by her fruity taste. With a terpene profile like this, you can smoke these buds quite discreetly.
Yields
As part of Seedstockers’ XXL Auto Collection, Big Bud Auto guarantees a remarkable harvest – up to 550g/m² (1.8oz/ft²). A hydroponic setup may be able to push this number even further.
Flowering Time
Another feature of a truly commercial strain is its ability to produce results in the shortest possible time. For Big Bud Auto, that’s just over 10 weeks.
Grow Tips
Big Bud Auto is an autoflowering version of a versatile strain, and is able to perform in any medium and persevere through small changes in temperature and humidity. As she has a great bud-to-leaf ratio, high-stress training (HST) techniques such as topping are recommended for a truly unbelievable harvest.
- This plant has a short height of only 1.1m (3.4 ft) indoors.
- Create an even canopy for consistent bud quality.
- Any LST technique, including ScrOG, will boost yields.
Big Bud Auto Seeds
Note the price of these feminized autoflowering seeds – it’s amazing for a strain of such quality.
