This Indica-dominant variety is part of the Herbies Seeds Canada lineup of classic strains bred for extra-short flowering time without compromising any of their special qualities. With Big Bud FV, we made sure to retain the large flowers and frostiness of the original strain while shaving off a couple of weeks from her grow cycle.

Genetics

To create this super-fast hybrid, the old-school Big Bud was crossed with another cultivar that we’d prefer to keep secret for now. The result is the same plant that’s been delighting growers and smokers for decades but with a much shorter flowering time.

Flowering Time

Producing extra-large buds doesn’t need to take a long time, and this fast version of Big Bud is ready for a trim in as little as 50 days after germination. It’s very convenient indoors, but outdoor growers will appreciate such a short flowering time even more, as they’ll be able to harvest their crops in September.

True to her name, Big Bud Fast Version produces large and dense nuggets with above-average yields of 1.6 oz/ft² (500 g/m²) indoors and up to 21 oz (600 g) per plant outdoors.
