It was supposedly first grown in the 1970s and early 1980s, just before President Reagan’s War on Drugs made its way to the cannabis safe haven Amsterdam, where it was stabilized genetically. Big Bud is a 'big' success because of her astonishing yields, persistent tenacity, and exquisite stone.

Big Bud has an obscure genetic lineage. All we know is that she’s a cross between Northern Lights, Skunk #1, and Afghani. This is where she gets her stellar yields, resilience, and growing vigor.
