Typical of most Indicas, Big Bud XXL does not grow very tall and reaches heights of only 3-5 feet.
Due to its small stature, Big Bud XXL is great for indoor grows.
It does well with SOG techniques.
The strain is not recommended for humid or tropical climates.
Buds can become dense, and proper air circulation is recommended.
With a flowering time of 7-8 weeks, this strain offers an early finish.

Big Bud XXL was created from Cannabis Cup winner Big Bud – a strain that some say has been around since the 80s. While the exact origin of the original Big Bud is unclear, its genetics can be traced to Skunk #1, Northern Lights and Afghani Kush. Big Bud XXL is one of several Big Bud variations.

  Ok, we had some serious, unbridled success on this run! The strain grew pretty much as advertised with minimal issues or concerns throughout the cycle. Huge, incredibly dense buds! Also, as advertised, this is pure Indica genealogy - initial report from the smoke is that it hits very hard and the buzz has "levels" for sure. Starts off super trippy then transitions to a mild euphoria. This strain will be perfect for a nightcap and will pair well with a rye whiskey on the rocks when the occasion arises. It's going to be good for pain relief and relaxation. I wouldn't recommend it for daytime use unless it's a rainy day of video games.

  so the flowering time wasn't 50-56 days mine was finished in 68 days (maybe had a longer pheno) but the buds were sticky and dense the smell/flavor was very pleasant fruity and floral however the effect is not as hard hitting as I would like

  The sweet, herbal taste of Big Bud XXL was a pleasant surprise. The plant remained manageable in height, making it easy to grow indoors. Its body stone was perfect for relieving chronic pain while keeping me mentally alert. Just be careful with dense buds to avoid mold issues.

The strain's relaxing effects were perfect for unwinding without feeling too sedated. However, it's not suited to humid climates. Perfect for indoor growers looking for a high-yielding strain.
