Genetics

Little is known about the actual origins of Bubblegum, other than that it originated in Indiana in the ‘70s. From there, it made its way across the U.S. to be later crossed with an unknown Indica. In the early ‘90s, this strain was stabilized and spread in Holland. The effort that was put into developing Bubblegum was definitely worth it, with this strain having won multiple awards, including second place for best overall strain at the 1995 and 1999 Cannabis Cups. 

Flowering Time

Selective autoflowering genetics allow this hybrid to quickly produce excellent yields. In optimal conditions, it takes the plants just 70 days to finish, while in some cases the flowering time can take up to 80 days.

When grown indoors, Bubblegum Auto’s harvest averages 1.4 oz/ft² (450 g/m²), while outdoors, it can produce up to 8.8 oz (250 g) of bud per plant.
