Delicious Cookies Early Version (Delicious Seeds)

Description

Delicious Cookies Early Version Strain Info

Although it contains a small amount of Ruderalis genetics, Delicious Cookies Early Version is not an autoflower. It still depends on the photoperiod, but it produces finished buds much faster. Its genetics offer an almost perfectly balanced 50% Sativa/40% Indica/10% Ruderalis mix, and the plant’s exceptional characteristics were recognized at Copa Mendoza in Argentina, where it won second place as the best outdoor strain.

Genetics

This strain’s family tree consists exclusively of U.S. genetics. It’s a blend of Girls Scout Cookies, Wedding Cake, 707 Headband, and Death Star plus some Ruderalis, which was added to make the plants finish faster.

Flowering Time

The breeders have significantly reduced the flowering time of Delicious Cookies Early Version to just 45 days – a week or two faster than its parent.

Yields

Despite its shortened flowering time, Delicious Cookies Early Version produces as much as its parent – up to 600g/m² (2oz/ft²) indoors and up to 1.5kg (3.3lb) per plant outdoors.

Effects

The effects balance energy and relaxation perfectly – you stop worrying about anything and find happiness in the moment, while still staying motivated to work, do chores, run errands, or party. Toward the end of the high, the relaxation may come to the foreground and make you want to sit down and enjoy some leg stretching.

THC and CBD Levels

Growers will be pleased to learn that this early version's potency can reach up to 26% THC – even higher than the original strain. CBD levels are quite low, making the therapeutic potential of this smoke rely solely on its THC.

Smell and Taste

Just like the original strain, Delicious Cookies Early Version offers a delightful tea-and cookie-like aroma, while on the exhale, the smoke leaves the aftertaste of earth on your palate.

Grow Tips

Although they finish flowering very fast, the plants manage to reach considerable size thanks to their vigorous development. This doesn’t lead to any issues either indoors or outdoors, as the canopy can be managed quite easily with standard training techniques. Outdoors, the strain’s early harvest time and resistance to fungi allow you to try growing it even in cooler climates.

• Top the plant and then use ScrOG for optimal results.
• Prune lower buds that end up below the canopy.
• Use LEDs to increase trichome production.
