Kalichakra Regular – Easy to Grow Sativa for Indoors

Kalichakra is a very pleasant and smooth Sativa named after the Indian goddess Kali. This regular strain combines genetics from South India and the Golden Triangle. Despite its Sativa dominance, this strain grows extremely well indoors and can perform with even low-level lighting. Mandala Seeds recommend growing indoors under 400W bulbs/m² in quality soil to make the plants grow to around 100-120cm high within the first 4 weeks of vegetation. If well maintained, the strain will reward with generous crops of 500-550 gr/m². If cultivated outdoors, Kalichakra can bring 850-1200 gr/plant.

In terms of training, the SCRoG (Screen of Green) method will help to distribute the large buds from the lateral branches, and a SoG (Sea of Green) method would be a smart choice due to the robust and thin-stemmed nature of the strain. Some growers recommend removing the bottom branches before switching to a 12/12 light cycle in order to focus all of the plant’s energy on the top buds for when the flowering season comes around.
