Laughing Buddha from breeder Barney’s Farm is a 80% Sativa-dominant cannabis strain whose origin is a cross between Thai and Jamaican landraces. As a winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup, she’s a highly impressive strain with yields usually testing at more than 20% THC and between 1-2% CBD. This terpene-loaded strain will delight all who choose to grow it.

Flowering Time

With a flowering time of 70-75 days, this lady is in no rush, although she’s still relatively fast for a Sativa. However, growers will be rewarded for their patience by bountiful crops and uplifting effects. Outdoors, she finishes in late October.

Pair this with a relatively short flowering period for a Sativa of just 10-11 weeks, and this strain is great for growing both indoors and outdoors. During flowering, it will stretch and double in size while its branches become covered in long, sticky, resinous buds. Other grow info to help you out:

  Awesome strain! Absolutely resistant to strong winds, rain, and my mistakes. The only problem I had was with her height. I planted seeds in February, in April I transplanted them into 30l growbags and hung them on the street. Bushes grew up to 3m tall! I bent my head in September when I saw them flowering.. My two plants impressed the whole block and I was ready for them to be cut by gardeners! Fantastic sedative and giggly effects. Cannabinoid levels must be out of this world! Guys use it wisely, she can easily knock you out! I dried and cured her buds. Sweet, tangy, uplifting, and strong effects! The strain is not good for indoors. By the time of harvest, your entire apartment will be covered in stems!

  I planted its seed in late June 2019 and my container was in the open balcony since then. In fall 2019 it instantly bloomed and in 15 days I harvested 3+g from it. By the way it grew to be taller than me. Indeed a high-yield feminized strain, 10 or 20 seeds for outdoor growing could be a good idea. The ripening is not so fast (as it’s claimed) but this lady is not picky about nutrients and temperature.
