Although medium in height, Red Russian XXL produces supersized yields that are far from being medium! Indoors, you can expect to harvest up to 750g/m² (2.45 oz/ft²) of resin-coated buds in just 8-9 weeks after the switch to 12/12, while outdoors, yields reach 700g (1.54lb) per plant by October.

- Advantages
  
  For me, this was a great outdoor strain. Grew much taller than I expected with a very large yield of EXTREMELY FROSTED buds. These buds were so frosted that mold didn't stand a chance and they glistened in the natural sunlight, very beautiful to look at in the late afternoon.
- Disadvantages
  
  I really tried to think of anything negative about this strain, but I couldn't find anything other than it started off a little slow at first, then exploded in growth later in veg and when it starts to flower, so no complaints.
- General impressions
  
  This is a TOP NOTCH outdoor strain where some spots on the resin production outside of this strain look like someone sprinkled baby powder on the buds. Extremely impressive. The harvest was very large with beautiful top quality buds with ZERO MOLD just perfect for the outdoor grower looking for quantity and especially quality buds that are potent with a delicious old school hot and peppery flavor. I would literally give this strain 6 stars if I could, this is no nonsense smoke, great for wake up and baking (in moderate amounts) simply because it makes you feel so good. Relax with friends and enjoy

  Very potent smell, robust, very frosty strain. Easy to grow, can handle high nutes and is very dank as they say.

  Got 2 as freebie and i was very impressed and would grow again but out of stock. Very smelly plants, got two and both were short bushes with big strong smelling buds. Smoke was mellow a go too strain for anytime really. I am impressed with Victory seeds, running their biggest bud and bubblegum now, both look and smell amazing, and were freebies too.

  The plants produce very potent buds, covered in resin. It produces a very strong and long-lasting high, more cerebral than the knockout. It is a popular medicinal plant. These seeds can produce fantastic plants in both appearance and effect. It is one of the most typically indica varieties. Medium-sized, consistent plants with dense, very resinous flowering tops (crystals appear after about 5 weeks of flowering).
