Auto Daiquiri Lime: A Strong, Uplifting High

While most cannabis strains give you a high so numbing it leaves you giggling, the Daiquiri Lime has a high that leaves you feeling motivated and uplifted. As strange as it may sound, this feminized cannabis strain can leave you feeling happy and stress-free, yet at the same time can also help with creativity, putting you into a creative spur alongside more sociable tendencies. Novice smokers shouldn’t be intimidated by this cannabis strain, as its high is not very strong.

Refreshing & Motivating Citrusy Flavor

With a combination of sweet, sour, citrus and diesel, Auto Daiquiri Lime takes you on a rollercoaster of flavors. The sweet and sour flavor hits you almost instantly, followed by a citrus undertone. In the end, this cannabis strain leaves a diesel aftertaste in your mouth.

Rich & Appealing Aroma Of Ripe Fruit

The strong aroma of this autoflowering marijuana strain can really give away its fruity citrus flavor. Auto Daiquiri Lime has two distinct smells that come from the plant both when growing and when the flower buds. As the plant grows, it gives off a diesel smell, and when the flower buds, it gives off a nice fruity citrus smell. The aroma alone is enough to send you down a trip.

Auto Daiquiri Lime: Rapid Growth & XXL Yields

This automatic strain is a dream come true for growers looking for extra heavy yields, rapid growth and stable USA genetics.

  • The strain is harvest-ready by day 75, but has an even better harvest by day 96.
  • A light nutrient regime is preferable.
  • LST and Fimming are recommended.
  • The plant has big leaves that could disrupt the amount of sunlight that other buds could receive.
  • It features a thick resin coating when budding.

Original USA Genetics

Auto Daiquiri Lime comes from an incredibly diverse lineage of cannabis strains. This Sativa-dominant strain has three main parent strains: Sour Diesel, Californian Orange and Ruderalis. These rewarded Auto Daiquiri Lime with rich and appetizing flavors, elevated THC content and XXL-size yields.

Everything was going well until I started using mineral fertilizers. Even though I used tried-and-tested GHE fertilizers, something went wrong. Being stressed three times is way too much for a short autoflowering life cycle. The buds turned out to be small and frankly weak (12% max). Their taste and aroma were also affected. The first attempt wasn't very successful. I've ordered more, I'll try not to make any mistakes this time because the strain obviously has potential, but you have to find the right approach.

    • Advantages
Grows easily, gives a fairly good yield (60-70g dry well-kept from the plant). Simply one of the best in terms of effect.
    • Disadvantages
      Not mold resistant
    • General impressions

I'd say Herbies lied about the THC percentage, which isn't really surprising. In reality, it's about 18% (and the Dutch Passion website agrees with me) maximum in expert hands. This same seed bank offers autoflowering strains that are at least 1.5 times more potent, so I don't really share the enthusiasm for its potency. But the effect is great. Really social, no heavy thoughts, goes well with low-alcohol drinks, perfect option for going out to a bar or for a house party. The high is quite pleasant, doesn't make you stupid or lazy. Perfect for sex, has an aphrodisiac effect. In short, a wonderful companion for parties. Grows easily, overcomes slight overfeeding with no observable issues, responds well to any training except the most extreme ones like mainlining (but I guess only fools would mainline or use scrog on an autoflower) and rough topping, withstands hot temperatures over 30 degrees, I can't say anything about the cold. Mainly control the humidity during the later stages and ensure good air circulation as it is prone to mold. The smell during flowering is wonderful. It's rather noticeable, but those who don't know probably wouldn't understand what it smells like exactly: a fresh grass and citrus smell, like two different air fresheners sprayed at the same time. The characteristic smell of the buds appears in the last 2-3 weeks and gets stronger after drying and curing. And as I said, it's not a champion when it comes to THC.

    • Advantages
The plants don't need much fertilizer, just a little potassium and magnesium, plus some extra potassium in the last few weeks of flowering.
    • Disadvantages
Be prepared for bud rot due to dense colas
    • General impressions

This girl has become a real discovery for me. I grew 3 plants outdoors in Holland and was so amazed! What an amazing plant! Huge buds hard as rocks. The smoke is so smooth, with a noticeable lime taste, if washed and dried. The effect is energizing and long-lasting as you would expect from a sativa-dominant hybrid. I plan to grow this strain again. It's my favorite autoflower to date.
