Blueberry Cheese Strain Info

The Blueberry Cheese cannabis strain, also known as Blue Cheese, is a 60% Indica-dominant strain that combines Skunk heritage and sweet blueberry flavors. One of the highest THC strains in Barney's Farm’s arsenal, Blueberry Cheese is a true Indica lover’s dream come true.

Genetics

Blueberry Cheese is a result of crossbreeding two famous cannabis genetics: Blueberry and UK Cheese. Its lineage can be traced back to the original Blueberry parent, which was first bred by DJ Short in the 1970s. UK Cheese, on the other hand, descends from a Skunk #1 that was brought to the UK in the 1980s.

Flowering Time

You won’t have to suffer through a long flowering period to reap the best of what Blueberry Cheese has to offer – it only takes about 60-65 days to finish.

Yields

Blueberry Cheese plants grow bushy with many side branches, ensuring good yields of 500 g/m² (1.6 oz/ft²) per plant outdoors or 450-650 g/m² (1.5-2.1 oz/ft²) indoors.

Effects

Due to its high THC levels, Blueberry Cheese induces feelings of happiness and euphoria on the onset, which evolve into long-lasting deep body sedation. You may end up feeling sleepy and hungry as well.

Medical Properties

This weed boasts medicinal benefits typical of Indica strains. For example, it can be used to treat insomnia, as it will make you want to sleep as the high kicks in. Those who suffer from chronic stress, anxiety, pain, lack of appetite, or migraines may likewise find relief in this strain.

THC and CBD Levels

Blueberry Cheese is one of the finest strains out there for its potent THC levels testing at 20-23% and minuscule CBD content (1%).

Smell and Taste

This herb is so dank that it can be considered borderline stinky. Blueberry Cheese’s aroma is a mix of savory cheese with mild and sweet berry-like aromas. The flavor is sweet and creamy, resembling a mix of blueberries and cheese.

Grow Tips

Thanks to its Indica influence, Blueberry Cheese plants grow short and compact, typically staying below 100 cm (3’3’’) in indoor gardens. Outdoors, they can reach up to 150 cm (5 ft) in height.

When cultivating Blueberry Cheese, it’s essential to provide horizontal space for your plants to reach their full potential, as they like to grow in width.

  • This weed grows bushy with plenty of foliage and can handle large amounts of nutrients.
  • Use a bigger final pot (~20 l) for a larger root system and bigger harvests.
  • We recommend using LST and HST techniques to promote the creation of new bud sites.

No mold, fast sativa growth, no yellowing of fans, MEGA organic smell that may not be stoppable in flowering, smells a lot like horse manure.
No mold even with wet cold heads for last two weeks.
Thirty oz dry weight of hard trimmed heads grown in natural soil in a poor green house.

love this strain and producer. Throughout he grow this was the strain I enjoyed the most. If you put into 3 gal smart pots it will produce a good amount of buds. I will be ordering more as I have 1 seed left. Not a heavy feeder and it will take an extra week or so to really bring out the colors.
