Orange Skunk is a feminized cannabis strain that’s bound to be a crowd-pleaser thanks to its citrusy aromas and powerful effects. As a 50/50 Indica and Sativa hybrid, Orange Skunk combines both a cerebral and physical high that makes it popular among both recreational and medical users. It comes with a high THC rating and, as such, is a strain best left for the evenings or weekends.

Description

Orange Skunk: A Powerful, Trippy High

There’s nothing subtle about the high from this feminized cannabis variety. Orange Skunk has a THC rating in the low to mid-twenties and tends to hit users very strongly, so novices beware! The high often starts off as a full-body buzz before developing into a more cerebral experience that can at times verge on the psychedelic. It’s good for treating a wide range of medical symptoms, both physical and mental.

A Burst Of Citrusy Flavors And Aromas Await

Not surprisingly, Orange Skunk packs a big punch of citrus aromas and flavors. The smell of oranges from this strain can be almost overpowering at times. However, it does have a sour side as well, which is due in large part to its Skunk genetics. By and large, however, if you’re a fan of marijuana strains that boast a citrusy profile, you’ll definitely be a fan of Orange Skunk.

Orange Skunk: A Beautiful Grow With Purple Leaves

Orange Skunk is one feminized marijuana strain that growers tend to love thanks to its exceptionally good looks and high yields. Expose it to cool night-time temperatures at the end of its flowering period and you’ll be rewarded with some beautiful purple leaves.

  • The flowering time is 55-65 days indoors, with harvests coming in September outdoors.
  • Expect yields of about 1150g (40 oz) per plant outdoors and 600-700g/m2 (2-2.3 oz/ft2) indoors.
  • Bush pattern grows will deliver the best yields.

Genetics That Combine Orange And Skunk

This feminized cannabis strain is all about combining the best of an Orange strain with the qualities of a Skunk. Its parents are Jack The Ripper, which obviously imparts its overwhelming citrus aromas and tastes, along with Orange Velvet, the latter providing its deep skunky notes along with great potency.

I live in a cold night, hot day short seasoned area in the mountains (2500 feet). This strain is not picky at all.

      Love her!
    • Disadvantages
      Nothing so far
    • General impressions

Wow! She has been upgraded to a 4x4 tent with 600w of flowering lights (2x Mars Hydro TSL2000; 300w each) and she is LOVING IT! Continuing on the Early Bloom nute schedule and holding a super-solid pH/EC through the end of this week. Her uptake has started to slow, so I'm thinking that she is close to being done with stretch. She is definitely going crazy with buds as it looks to me like they swell more each day. I've been very happy with her growth so far; impressed even. I'm just hoping that the increased lighting doesn't cause her to herm due to the close distance.
