Description
Desert Diesel: Fast-Finishing and High Yielding Sativa
Desert Diesel from HSO is a 55% Sativa hybrid, a feminized cross between the legendary Amherst Sour Diesel and potent, tasty Emerald Mountain DAD (Diesel Afghan Diesel). Good yielder, potent and smelly: a great daily strain and must try for all diesel lovers and connoisseurs.
Robust, vigorous and strong, she’s easy to grow, finishes relatively fast, at least for a Sativa-dominant plant, and produces good and quality yields. She can produce 400-600g/m2 for indoor cultivation and 1000-2000g/plant in outdoor cultivation reaching 300-400cm in height. Like most Sativas, she does prefer warmer, sunnier and dryer climates outdoors but does well in greenhouse or indoors too. As a sturdy and bushy plant, with slightly larger internodes and fewer leaves, it’s easy to trim and manage. Her indoor flowering period will finish after 65-70 days and by late October outdoors. The buds are big and large, dense and fully covered with resinous trichomes. Not requiring any special attention or care, it’s a great strain for beginner growers.
- Recommended techniques: Low Stress Training (LST), Topping and Defoliation
- Indoor lighting: We suggest HID 400W – HID 1000W used during vegetation – flowering phases may allow for around 110g/plant
- Usually testing at 17-24% THC with <1% CBD
Energizing and Uplifting: A Great Daily Strain
The effects are strong and long lasting, her high THC content helps in making you feel uplifted with a euphoric high. The aromas are woody and diesel at first, then you’ll notice the subtle hints of sweet and fruity flavors with oil and woody undertones.
