Durban-Thai x C99 is a high-quality 100% female strain first released in 2000 under a limited quantity. It sold out quick and legend has it, was renamed by a different breeder and won a major Cannabis Cup.
This strain is better suited for growing indoors. It has an indoor flowering period 65/70 days under 12/12 lighting, after the seedlings have gone through a vegetative phase of around 6-8 weeks. The plant grows quite bushy, yet the branches tend to support the large and dense buds – containing sticky and sweet resinous buds that are perfumed with sweetness. Durban-Thai x C99 has large colas to form at the ends of each branch. It is recommended to use a tall, central stake which will provide enough support for the entire flowering cycle. The branches are capable of supporting the heavy buds, even when the plant gets overgrown. A typical 120-cm plant yields around 110 - 145 g of quality buds per plant – above average for this type of height.
