Liberty Haze is an award-winning 60% Sativa-dominant hybrid cannabis strain from Barney's Farm, a cross between two legendary strains: G13 and ChemDawg 91. With parents like that, you can be sure this strain holds no punches when it comes to potency thanks to its 25% THC; Liberty Haze is one formidable medicine.

A true hybrid, exhibiting the best characteristics from both of its parents, it’s well suited for both indoor and outdoor growing - staying relatively short, usually around 100-110cm with a flowering time of 8-9weeks. Outdoors, it usually finishes by the end of September or early October. Nice side branching will ensure for a satisfying yield even with its compact stature as the branches will fill up with long, dense and hard buds with red and pink pistils. Yield is usually around 550-650g/m² to 600g/plant outdoors or in hydro.

Recommended Nutrients: Plagron.
Recommended Techniques: LST, topping and defoliation will all increase the size of your yield.
Good bud to leaf ratio, easy to trim.
Lighting: LED 800W during both flowering and vegetation periods.
Usually testing at ~25% THC and 1-2% CBD.

  Based on the name, you'd really think it's a strong sativa strain but actually, this plant is a balanced hybrid, and it shows in both the growth characteristics and the effect. I am satisfied with how this growth turned out; however I know that it could have been even better without my mistakes.

  Quite a vivid sativa effect with a strong indica came down, leaving me a bit fuzzy headed the next day. Not as strong as some strains but a nice sweet citrus smell and very easy resilient growth. Grew very well outside in cold weather which was the biggest surprise.

  This was a casual outside grow for me and I did have some troubles in the early stages, strangely when it got cold it actually grew faster. Will do another grow of this strain outside and indoors to see the full advantages. Overall I’m happy.

  Really nice dense really frosty, really nice fruity earthy aroma. Really nice high doesnt take long to take effect, really relaxing yet at same time not total couch lock, I feel I could smoke this at night and really chill and relax and I could smoke in day and still get all my things done, really happy with results

  Very compact. The smell is very pleasant between sweet and earth and its incredible effect makes you feel that your head is going to explode. it must be allowed to heal so that it exploits its potential. It has only been dried and it is already incredible

  Great smoke very smooth and very potent. It may feel a little mellow for some due to having some CBD content. Definitely a staple. And the odor is strong fuel with lime and earthiness.
- Disadvantages
  
  Grows so fast and tall it can be hard to manage indoors. Hand watering even multiple times a day may not be enough to sustain this heavy producer.
- General impressions
  
  One of my favorite grows, needs food very often due to vigorous growth. Automatic watering recommended.

  This variety is good and quite potent but the THC content is not 25%... I didn’t feel any energy boost or rush at all… Actually I’ve never had any Haze that would give me that energy boost… and I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a quality of any of Haze strains

  So what can I say about this Barney’s?? I feel like they exaggerated THC levels. I’ve also grown their critical kush and I’m sorry to say that it doesn’t feel like 25% THC. However, smell, taste and effect wise it’s good

  I didn’t grow this one but I got to try it in an official seedbank coffee shop in Amsterdam! Honestly, I might have overdosed because I had a flight next day and needed to smoke all weed I had with me - didn’t want to waste it, obviously. So, there was no energy rush, but I couldn’t fall asleep either. But what this babe does to your mind is absolutely crazy! Every time I closed my eyes it felt like a color bomb exploded in my brain and I had very strong visuals. Once I felt like I got close to having a bad trip but I could handle it and enjoy the experience.

  I used bioponics and got myself in a little bit of trouble at the start of the flowering when the temperature increased and some of the important microorganisms died which caused the drop in the oxygen levels. Too bad! I had to add two weeks to the flowering to get the mature plant I wanted. As I used bioponics my plants got nutrition till the very end of the cycle so I was lucky to witness Liberty Haze turning red and purple! Gorgeous! I went on to harvest when the resin looked 40% cloudy and 60% amber brown, was scared it was too late but when I tried it, this strain instantly became one of my all time favorites. Before that I though White Russian with its 22% THC was cerebral and strong but oh boy… With Liberty Haze 3 hours in and you’re in the middle of nowhere, no clue where you are and where you’re coming from, and you’re still peaking!

  Didn’t manage to harvest the promised 600 g/sq.m but I guess it’s okay since I didn’t train or prune my plants at all.

  Great variety! She’s like a gateway to a perfect high if harvested at the right moment. I’ve tried Liberty that was collected too early and her effects were pretty disappointing, to say the least. When fully matured she brings a very deep mind-blowing effect. The buds stay nice and sticky even after you dry them, and the plant itself is beautiful, strong, not too tall thanks to her top-class genetics!

  Something makes me think this buddy is extra easy to grow because I do whatever I fancy to it and it just keeps growing! I’ve been bending it a lot + it’s been through some temperature drops and still it keeps getting stronger! It’s not flowering yet but the stalk is already 10cm thick, maybe because I gave it generous 50l of soil.

  The plant has a pleasant yet a very strong smell. Actually is so heavy my wife’s getting nervous! Thinking of getting myself a coil filter
