Up-And-Down: Rollercoaster Of Effects

As with most hybrids, the smoking experience, complete with 18-22% THC, offers a gradual shift from Sativa to Indica-like effects. Kali Dog’s high starts as cerebral, uplifting, talkative, and creative, and as time passes, transforms into a relaxing and calming body buzz. This combo makes Kali Dog perfect for late-night gatherings with friends that start with passionate discussions and finishes with a movie and snacks.

Kali Dog’s Sweet’N’Savory Flavors And Aromas

The flavors of Kali Dog are citrusy, sweet, and sour, reminiscent of lime candy. On the exhale, the flavor opens to savory undertones of earth and herbs. As for this cannabis strain’s aromas, they’re pungent and hit your nose as soon as you open the jar of buds. Get your senses ready for a skunky heart with whiffs of diesel and lemon.

A Fast-And-Furious Grow

Kali Dog grows vigorous and finishes fast, at least for a Sativa, finishing flowering in 8-10 weeks indoors or by late October outdoors. This cannabis strain is comfortable both indoors and outdoors, but prefers slightly milder climates with low humidity and moderate temperatures. Good airflow is crucial, as Kali Dog is quite susceptible to mold, mildew and bud rot due to its large, thick, and dense buds. Kali Dog is usually olive-green with purple colors and hues.

  • It grows 90-160cm (2’9”-5’2”) tall indoors and up to 210cm (6’8”) outdoors.
  • Kali Dog yields 500g/m² (1,6oz/ft²) indoors or 550g (19oz) per plant outdoors.
  • RQS recommends using a 600W HPS to easily yield 500g/m² (1.6oz/ft²).
  • The plant tends to stretch a lot during flowering, so there’s no need for long vegetation periods.

Kali Dog: Unbeatable Genetics

This weed strain has been bred for over 20 years and still stays on top of the game. Why? Probably because it’s a bag-full of great traits thanks to its legendary Chemdawg and Sour Diesel parentage – a combo that’s responsible for Kali Dog’s unmistakable citrusy flavor, uplifting high, and monster yields.

Made me feel happy, relaxed, and uplifted. The buds were well-packed and beautifully shaped. Three plants had a strong, pungent smell, while the other had a very citrusy smell. Overall, the plant helps a lot to relax and uplift! The high is amazing! I def. recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time!
    • Disadvantages
      May cause paranoia
    • General impressions

I made a lot of mistakes this grow. One of the biggest was that I didn't check/control the light as much as I should have during vegetation and I believe I knocked the plants out because of this, the internodes were too tight. Next time I need to control this I'll have to lower the lights and let them grow more! During flowering I didn't have many problems other than what happened at week 18. I don't know what happened but at least I can say it wasn't a bud. Maybe those buds got too much light? Or something else? No idea!
