Blue Cheese: Stinky And Leafy Indica

Blue Cheese is an Indica-dominant (60%) hybrid, a cross between stinky and potent Original Cheese and delicious and tasty Oregon Blueberry Blend. When two were crossed, the plant was backcrossed with Cheese in order to fine tune the flavors and aromas and to stabilize the strain further. Plants will usually stay around 100-160cm indoors or 140-200cm outdoors. Due to its relatively short size and stature, Blue Cheese is well suitable for SOG setups.

Relaxing
Happy
For Sex

Blue Cheese brings good yields in all environments and setups, both indoors and outdoors reaching 500-550g per a square meter or per plant. Outdoors, growers may expect to harvest by late September while it takes 7-8 weeks to finish indoors. Buds usually test at ~19% THC and are extremely dense and hard with sweet and fruity smells that will fill up the grow area as soon as the first flowers appear.

  • 12 plants per square meter are recommended in SOG;
  • Due to slightly higher leaf to bud ratio, pruning is advised;
  • For optimal results, hydro or aero setup with 1000W HPS is recommended.

Heavy And Strong, Ideal Strain To Finish The Day

      The final taste is pleasant, not as pungent as the plant, but still a light cheese taste. I think I could have maybe spent a little more time drying to retain that taste/smell, but I live and learn. The buds are very dense and full of trichomes. The crystal catcher part of my grinder fills up quickly! Overall, I'm pretty happy with the quality I produced, but I'm always looking for more! Quantity-wise, I'm a little disappointed, but I think I know what my mistakes were.
    • Disadvantages
      No, it's nice despite my mistakes.
    • General impressions

      Such a unique flavor and really easy to grow. I would recommend it to anyone, beginner or experienced, it's a one-of-a-kind strain.

      Awesome harvest, gotta get the cure right! Smells insane.
    • Disadvantages
      Dry mouth
    • General impressions

      This plant has been a pleasure to grow, she has just done her own thing and has come out great! Veg phase was amazing, plant grew vigorously and healthy, I did leave it in veg for longer than I would usually. The buds grew thick and very quick, it took 9 weeks to finish its flower cycle.

      Grew this strain before, again a GREAT result. 70 grams is a good amount. RQS genetics for the win!
    • Disadvantages
      No
    • General impressions

      Really enjoyed the grow. Like I mentioned before, RQS genetics are the best out there. A bit disappointed in myself, harvest to late and the density isnt at the max. However, great some and good high.

    • Advantages
      It’s a great strain to grow
    • Disadvantages
      I did have some bud rot at the end but that was more down to my fault of poor air movement
    • General impressions

      Ok tbh I had an easy grow till the end when my fan in the room broke but due to it being at the back I couldn’t get to it. So ended with a little bud rot that I had to cut out. I would grow this strain again it’s a proper smelly bud and a dam fine mellow smoke. I learned more this grow and hope to carry that over to the next grow.

      Only had one plant outdoors, I was pleasantly surprised, the rainy season had some mold while whole plants of different strains completely died, short very indica, but very nice dense buds, smells very blueberry smell almost the same as blue widow. Balanced high more of a head high than expected.
