Critical Kush feminized seeds (Barney's Farm)

Netherlands

Description

Critical Kush Strain Info

Critical Kush by Barney's Farm is a 100% Indica. With a THC level of 25%, simplicity in growing, and high resistance to temperature fluctuations, it’s a firm favorite of many growers.

Genetics

The lineage of Critical Kush isn’t markedly different from many of the most popular varieties on the market today. Her parents are Critical Mass and OG Kush, and their immediate predecessors include Skunk #1, Afghani, Hindu Kush, and an unknown strain from Northern California. The resulting mix of genes, however, is anything but ordinary.

THC And CBD Levels

Critical Kush boasts an incredible THC level of 25% to provide a long-lasting effect. Plus, although this strain wasn’t bred for high CBD content, it also turned out to be very rich in this therapeutic cannabinoid at 1.8%.

Smell And Taste

Though it doesn’t have a delicious-sounding name to lure users in with a promise of some sweet treat, this strain contains many tasty terpenes that give the smell notes of earth, herb, and fuel. Meanwhile, the flavor is intensely piney, with an aftertaste of lemons and tangerines.

Yields

As a cash-crop variety, Critical Kush can bring a generous 650g/m² (2.1oz/ft²) of smelly, dense, THC-rich buds in an indoor setup.

Flowering Time

55-60 days of flowering is an incredible speed, even for an Indica – yet another reason to choose this wonderfully rewarding strain.

Grow Tips

The Critical Kush strain has a relatively small size when cultivated indoors, reaching just 100cm (3.3 ft). When harvest time comes, the top of the plant becomes purple, and resinous buds covered in crystals begin to appear. The plant has a strong smell during the flowering period, so carbon filters will be a real help for indoor growers. Outdoors, Critical Kush can be cultivated throughout a temperate climate zone and is ready to harvest by the end of September.

  • Beware that high humidity can cause molding.
  • Defoliation and good ventilation are needed to prevent powdery mildew.
  • LST bending and ScrOG are the best ways to increase yields.

Critical Kush Seeds

This strain is 100% feminized, and though the price isn’t exactly low, rest assured that every penny spent on these seeds will be more than worth it. The genetics are really incredible, and you’ll harvest a generous amount of bud from every seed you plant.

Excellent strain - easy-to-grow and heavy-yielding. Grows really tall - my plants reached 120 cm in 8L pots! I used bending to control height. Not picky but she likes nitrogen in soil and regular watering. Resistant to high temperatures - can handle 36C in a grow box!!! or even 42C when it’s hot outside!! Fantastic aroma! It’s not my first grow and the effect is always the same - she will glue you to the couch or to the screen if you are watching a movie. Nice choice for a movie night!!! Brings a great relief from pain in case of bone fractures!! The average yield per plant is 120g of dry buds. I prefer a 50/50 combination of stone and high, so I do not increase light hours during the flowering. If you do, you’ll get a more intense stone and an average yield of 140g/plant. She’s worth growing by both first-timers and experts! I am very satisfied with results, and those telling that she’s small-yielding and slow - just grow her right. Control her growth and give proper conditions and nutrients. I don’t use any funky fertilizers - only organic nutrients during the vegetation and flowering. My best choice is chicken manure or banana peels!!! 2 weeks before chopping I give her only pure water - 5L is enough. It’s essential to give pure water before harvesting!! I am super happy)) Best luck to you all!

CK has a beautiful, calming and all over body stone that also provides a positive vibe in the head. The THC hits like a freight train when it comes, its very potent. I have a "1 cone-I'm stoned" tolerance, bug if I really want to get baked I will smoke two. However with CK I only need to be absolutely medicated for hours. She hangs around for a while . A good 3 hours. The come down is one of the most perfect come down strains I've had. She just fades away slowly and returns you to a really relaxed state. Sometimes , with a few strains, I'll feel a slight "hangover" when I exit the high, but CK is almost seamless from the 'high mood' to the 'real world'.

The growing cycle turned out to be a splendid journey. Through the process of revegetation, I managed to propagate the plant and obtain clones. This endeavor led to one of my most successful cycles, with an impressive outcome of 9 clones undergoing a 58-day flowering period. The experience was filled with an array of novel insights and emotions. Without a doubt, I enthusiastically recommend this strain to fellow cultivators.

I suffer from anxiety and sometimes social anxiety that with smoking indicas can become worse when I'm hit with paranoia. This strain gives me NO paranoia or negative effects whatsoever. It's a nice, uplifting high. The smell is like a lemon tree. Try jarring the nugs with a lemon peel for a few days, it will taste like earthy lemonade :) This ganj makes me clear-headed, genuinely happy, creative, and inspired. I recommend this to anybody, but especially if you've ever smoked some weed that made you too hungry, tired, paranoid, sick, or otherwise not as chill as you wanted to be, try this. Smoking once may not be enough of a high for some. If you're like that, which is how I am, wait a little while and smoke a second time. You'll be ready to take on the world.

I grew these girls this year and they pleased me with lush and beautiful colas. I followed the 3 cut method (don’t remember the exact name) and ended up with beautiful and bushy ball-shaped colas. During the first weeks I used organic worm castings and chicken manure as fertilizers. Then close to the final weeks (2-3 weeks before harvesting) I added double superphosphate, 40% phosphorus, 15% nitrogen + florula and microelements. What I got in the end? Results were impressive! My ladies shoot up to the top of my greenhouse - as if I was growing Sensi or Cali Mist. I recommend using natural fertilizers - the taste will be awesome!  I used chemical fertilizers just once to boost up the yields and to see how it works. ))) Nice crops and peace to you all!
