Auto Orange Bud Feminized Seeds (Dutch Passion)

Netherlands

Description

Auto Orange Bud Strain Info

Auto Orange Bud is another excellent strain by breeder Dutch Passion. It grows compactly, meaning it's ideal for cultivators looking to keep a low profile. This sophisticated strain required several years of development, but it was worth the wait!

Genetics

Its family tree includes Orange Bud and Auto Daiquiri Lime, both known for their citrus flavors and high potency. That lineage also contributes to this strain’s prominent Sativa dominance.

Flowering Time

This strain has an overall flowering time of only 77 days from seed. It’s ideal for those growers stuck with shorts summers, but it’s also great for those who want both a rapid and productive strain in general.

Yields

While it will grow well outdoors, it prefers staying indoors where you can give it lots of light for bigger yields. You will see a large harvest without much effort or prior experience – about 400-500g/m² (1.31-1.64oz/ft2).

Effects

This potent strain offers consumers a classic uplifting Sativa effect. You can anticipate a surge of creativity and a desire to be productive.

THC and CBD Levels

You won't find any CBD content in this strain. However, you will find extremely high THC content of 26%, making it well worth growing for recreational use.

Smell and Taste

The strain has an exquisite orange and fruit terpene profile resembling the original Orange Bud. Even while growing, it produces a pleasant, albeit skunky, aroma.

Grow Tips

This strain’s autoflowering properties mean that the bud won’t have to undergo a change in light cycles in order to start growing thick, resinous buds from the vegetation stage. This is a huge advantage for those who want to stick with the same light cycle throughout the whole process. It’s also easier for outdoor growers, making the plant incredibly tough, compact, and easy to cultivate throughout the whole 11 weeks of growing. It should grow fairly compact, meaning it’s ideal for the discreet grower who wants to keep a low profile.

  • This strain is easy to grow and has a rapid turnaround, making it perfect for beginners
  • The recommended light schedule is 20/4 throughout the cycle

Auto Orange Bud Seeds

Who wouldn't want seeds that are easy to grow and produce THC counts that high? As a feminized and autoflowering strain, it's popular among many cultivators, big and small.

    • Advantages
Follow up after purchase: Fairly quick grow indoors. Produced nice buds. Grew between 36-40" tall in 3 gall fabric pots with coco/perlite mix. Handled a few ph swings well and nutrient build up. (Over fed them later in flower). The two plants fitted well into my 3x3x6 tent.
Delightful aroma. Bright and citrusy during flowering.
Aroma after cure = spectacular, grapefruit/citrus, cloves
    • Disadvantages
Not so much a disadvantage, but one of the seeds was a twin, which I had never seen before: two sprouts from one seed.
      Pretty cool.
    • General impressions

Loved growing the Orange Bud. It is fairly easy to grow (I have been growing one year) and they grew quickly. I had both plants in 3 gallon fabric pots in coco + perlite under a 200 watt LED light.
Bright citrusy aroma during flowering. Took some ph swings well (my bad). One plant was around 40" tall and the other around 30" tall. (I used different LST methods.)
The two plants had enough breathing room in my 3x3x6 tent. I didn't use a scrog net (LSTd pipecleaners attached to the fabric pot helped spread the plant early on.) Used a couple of overhead hangers to support the heavier cones, later in flower.
I pulled 6 dry oz from both plants The bulk of those buds (+4oz) from both plants were nice solid high-end nugs.
      Thank you

This was a fun lady to grow, a very short plant, but packs on serious weight! She produced very big, thick, sticky and smelly and colorful flowers. When I smell the jars I get strong odors of fruitiness and stinky cheese is the best way I can describe it.
    • Disadvantages
      None
    • General impressions

Absolutely beautiful plant, I would recommend it to any grower beginner or advanced. The overall grow of this plant went for the most part very well, I ran into a minor nutrient deficiency with some taco leaves, I got that sorted out through very quickly and it seem to have low to no effect on the plant, she ate a ton more food than my last plant, but my harvest was more than double than my last Dutch passion plant, her last few weeks she had a very beautiful purple and yellow colors to her, she was very easy on the eyes. I’ve really been happy with all the genetics I’ve tried so far from Dutch Passion and I’ll continue to grow them, they produce spectacular results.
