Blueberry has a rich history that goes back to the ‘70s when the legendary West Coast breeder DJ Short, who was working on stabilizing various landrace strains, made this Indica-dominant hybrid with enough Sativa influence to amp up the flavor and achieve a unique and ultimately satisfying high. Genetics

Blueberry’s family tree follows the path of many classic indoor hybrids. The genetic foundation for this strain comes from Afghanistan, but Thai and Purple Thai were also added to the mix to spice things up.

Blueberry can be an amazingly fast-flowering variety, covering the whole distance between the first female hairs and a fully mature harvest in just 49 days. Other phenotypes can grow at a slower rate with a flowering time of up to 63 days.

Though originally not known for her record-breaking yields, our improved Blueberry is a rewarding indoor strain with yields of up to 1.6 oz/ft² (500 g/m²). Outdoor harvests, on the other hand, are insane at 1.5 lb (700 grams) per plant.
