Northern Lights – Cannabis Legend and Users’ Favorite
Northern Lights is a feminized strain with both Afghani and Thai landrace strains origins. She is Indica-dominant, sitting at 80% and her effects are more narcotic as compared with her hybrid derivatives. But the indoor flowering time is slightly less, that is, up to 9 weeks. The flowers give sweet aromas.
When it comes to growing the Northern Lights cannabis strains, there is no cause for alarm. The same case applies to the flowering period. The strain is a very forgiving plant and tolerates minor growth errors with ease, creating the perfect strain for amateur farmers.
She has relatively high THC levels of 16-21% in her flowers. Most of the plants have a height of between 100-130 cm indoor-outdoor respectively. The buds are compacted, which explains the long branches. Northern Lights gives you up to 350g/m² indoors and 450g/plant outdoors. The plants will perform better when planted outdoors during the summer season because the temperatures are higher. It takes 65 days to harvest the yields in an outdoor setup and a week earlier in the instances of indoor planting.
- Growing temperature range: 21-30°C.
- Lighting: 18hours per day.
- PH levels of between 6.2 and 6.7.
- Growing fertilizer: NPK.
The Northern Lights resinous Indica buds offer nothing lesser than sweet and spicy tastes. The flavors are earthy and piny. As an Indica, users can naturally expect to enjoy feelings of relaxations in body and mind and combating of sleeping disorders.
