Description

Tangie'matic Auto Strain Info

A true gem, the almost pure Sativa Tangie’matic Auto is an autoflowering version of the popular Tangie (or Mandarin). This feminized cannabis strain from Fast Buds provides incredible harvests and is the biggest plant in their catalog. She's also one of the most potent in terms of the strength and variety of her medicinal uses.

Genetics

Hailing from the 1990s, this tasty and potent autoflowering strain is the direct descendant of the very popular Tangerine Dream that won an overall Cannabis Cup in 2010. If we go back even further back in time, we’ll also see such old-school strains as California Orange and Skunk, contributing their unique properties to this lineage.

Effects

The effects of Tangie’matic Auto are typical for a Sativa – uplifting, euphoric, and cerebral – making this a great strain to use throughout the day. It’s also highly medicinal due to her formidable THC levels.

THC And CBD Levels

Usually testing at more than 21-23% THC and around 1% CBD, Tangie’matic Auto is extremely and consistently potent. It ensures a strong and long-lasting high, with only a slow tolerance build-up. It’s high enough CBD content also adds a great deal to the medical benefits of the strain.

Smell And Taste

The flavors and smells are exactly what you’d expect from a Tangie – tangerine and citrusy, fresh and spicy. With terpenes like this, people not only choose this strain for its potency, but also for its sheer deliciousness.

Yields

The yields of Tangie'matic Auto can vary from average to very high, depending on the pheno you get and the conditions you grow in. Specifically, you can expect 450-650g/m² indoors (1.5-2.1oz/ft2) and 50-350g (1.75-12.3oz) per plant outdoors.

Flowering Time

Different phenotypes may require no more than 9 weeks (63 days) from seed to peak maturity of the buds. Others may take a week longer and finish flowering in about 70 days. However, if you give your plants plenty of room and provide good lighting, this can go up to 14-15 weeks. In that case, you’ll be well rewarded with yields that can be rightfully be called XXL – and not just for an autoflowering strain!

Grow Tips

Growing like a true Sativa, you can expect fast and explosive growth from day one. If given enough root space, the strain can easily reach heights of up to 150cm (5ft), but will generally range from 80-130cm (2.6-4.3ft). Being the biggest plant doesn’t always mean it’ll have the biggest yield to match, but with Tangie’matic Auto, you can expect exactly that.

  • The size of the plant will depend on the size of your container.
  • Be sure to give the root structure a lot of space for bumper harvests.
  • The plant may need support for its side branches.

Tangie'matic Auto Seeds

Buy these seeds if you want to grow as big an autoflower as they make them. If you do everything right, you can harvest more bud than many photoperiod varieties can bring in.

The first one finished strong at 56 days, but the second one is lagging behind, I'm thinking it'll need around 80 days. The smell can be really intense, but it depends on the pheno.
This is a seriously potent sativa, I highly recommend it. And it's a heavy feeder, you can literally feed it every day! There's no better auto out there.
Just a heads up for anyone who just wants to water and forget it, even then I’m sure you will get no less than 1.5 - 2 oz

Easy-going and can handle stress. This is only my second grow before this I ran a Lowryder #2 which had less smell. The photo is a Tangie at day 50. It's growing on my balcony under an 85W generic LED and whatever sun it gets. For a novice home grower I’m seriously impressed with the results. Been feeding with the Tripart fertilizer.
I must say the lower leaves are starting to yellow but probably my fault. Overall looks gorgeous though. Smells like straight-up citrus with a mix of diesel and mint. It’s a thick, juicy plant, and I can already tell she’s gonna be some fire.

This is on day 54. Hidden outdoor grow. The spot is alright, but because of the trees nearby the light stops at 5 pm. I'd like for those evening rays to reach them too. But it is what it is. I spend an hour just walking through the forest to get there, but man, I can't stand those indoor "closets" whether it's HPS or those expensive LEDs they're just not the sun! The only downside is I'm tired of hauling water. 25 l buckets for 3 Tangees and 4 Dosidos.
I identify problems by the leaves. But all the leaves are a uniform color, bright and green. I don't feel like anything is missing. I'm going with Biobizz for the whole cycle and at the end add their bloom. I don't track pH, just use clean, settled water. I did some light LST, bending them a bit around day 30. The Tangees are already 1 meter tall. The first flowers are starting to form, and there is a lot of them! I picked 3 leaves as they're already getting sugary and gave them to a friend, he said they were very strong... My hopes are high for the Tangees, I've been buying here for a long time and wanted to try them since '21.

      Pros: Not fussy.
Cons: My first experience wasn't a complete success because early on I decided to give her a little trim, and after that she died within a week. My bad. I guess that's the only downside I've had with her.
Overall Impressions: I planted two bushes in DWC. I've been feeding them water-soluble strawberry fertilizer the whole way. EC was 1.0 at the start, and when they got stronger I switched it to 2.2. The light schedule is 18/6 (300 watts), pH 5.5-6. I change the reservoir when they've almost finished drinking it all. The bush on the left is in a 10 l bucket, the one on the right is in a 3 l jar. I wanted to transplant the right one into a bucket too, but I didn't get to it, the roots just won't let it out, I guess it liked it in there too much 😂 Anyway, it's growing without any issues, I don't even remember when I planted it. But it was about two months ago, and it's already starting to mature. I didn't think autos could get so huge. Anyway, check out the photos
