After the initial crossing of Grandaddy Purps and Orange Bud, the yield sizes were low, so they introduced Kritikal Bilbo into the mix, enhancing capacity and producing an easy to grow and resistant cannabis strain.

Critical Orange Punch Trip Report

Critical Orange Punch Trip Report

She has the traits of an Indica but draws effects from her Sativa influence. The plant will grow with no problem indoors, outdoors and in greenhouses, with an average height of 1.5m. She has medium node distances and medium-sized leaves, with a predominant central cola. These properties mean she doesn’t need much special care and grows under almost any conditions. For optimized cannabinoid production, flowering should last from 7-8 weeks and, and if grown outdoors, the breeder suggests scheduling harvest by late October. Expect yields of large buds, with citrus and hashish smell with the presence of skunk. Overall, Critical Orange Punch is in the High Times’ Top 10 2018 varieties because of its hardiness, productiveness, tastes, and effects.

  • Pot size: At least 12L for high yields;
  • pH: 6.2 Vegetation/ 6.7 Flowering;

      Wow! What a plant! This beauty had some of the most amazing purple colors at harvest. The jars smell absolutely delicious and the sample I smoked had me more stoned than I have been in awhile. Great strain!!

      This strain has become one of my favorites! I will be growing this strain again later this year as it vegetates/flowers quickly and rewards you with a satisfying amount of bud.

      We're finally full term. She was grown in a 5 gallon DWC bucket with a 254 gallon/hour air pump with 4x4 inch air stones. I had no temperature control. She shared a tent with 3 other plants (2xGelat.OG, 1xG.Gelato) that are in DWC under a 4x4x7 grow tent. Initially in veg, I used 2 x 200W COB/CREE LEDs. After pre-flower, I added a 125W Viparspectra LED that used about 525W to the walls. I'm really impressed with this girl. She was the fastest to veg and it was so obvious. I clipped, LST, and defoliated, that's it. 3.5 oz is pretty impressive in my opinion. Next time, I'll do much better with her. I have about 5 more seeds and will be growing them later this year. Happy harvests and peace to you all! :)

      Good feeling, whole body. Satisfying combination, the hybrid pushes a good head high, as well as the nice feeling body high, that gives a mellow vibe. Yummy.

    • Advantages
      The smell is incredible! The flowers are pure white, dense, and laden with cheatgrass.
    • Disadvantages
      Nothing for the moment

      Place 3 under greenhouse film, as heavy rain could be a problem with those dense buds. The weather has been horrible here since late August, with 45-degree nights, constant rain, and extreme humidity, and they will easily lose a pound per plant regardless. I can't comment on the smoke yet, but I'm looking forward to harvest, which looks like it's about 2 weeks away. It will be humid. All the girls are about 6 feet tall and too big to put your arms around, with a nice central cola and at least a dozen around it. With a year of good weather, this strain will easily produce 2 lbs per plant with little fuss. HIGHLY recommended for short-season northern growers.
